IHi. has anyone read this book? what evaluation? let's be positive
I'm a Europe trader. My interest is only about strategy.

I have done a little mt4 trading arsenal with template and personal code. It would be nice to share experiences about this trading strategy.

TF 5 MIN/EURUSD

Buy setup:
close>mm200
session: London
last open candle > bb upper
sl:10 pips
tp: 10 pips or trailing

Sell setup:
close<mm200
session: London
last open candle < bb lower
sl:10 pips
tp:10 pips or trailing
Yes, I have known about it for months and traded it both on demo and live account.
It is not profitable.
What's the mm200? A moving average?

For me very interesting and easy to use. A common problem with strategies is that there is no help software in the strategy. the software reduces the possibility of error.
I'm working on ea 10pips scalp strategy according to book with these features: session filter, atr (better than squeeze), basket stop, basket take, trailing, close all trades management, automatic trading or manual trading.
To the original poster - for how long have you traded based on this strategy? Are you satisfied with the results?

I have not yet had the time to test hard but I will do it. I am sure of the strategy, I am making an ea that can help. the strategy works in the London session and with volatility breakouts. so in addition to the basic setup I added the atr indicator and his ma. I will post results in the future but anyone can try.

I have done an ea to use this strategy in discretional, next step is autotrading. Today completed the code for manual trading, i will use it for testing. I will post screenshot.

Hi George, i am not connected with the book's author, I suggest to buy the book, little but with great content. This strategy is simple and powerful, it can be profitable with standard indicators. I never knew there was a section called "Rookie Talk"

Seems like the best place for me.

I might even have some fun resurrecting this dead thread.
The ebook is a super quick read and the author post charts that are not even in line with the strategy he is putting forward.
But that's cool. It's his book. He can do whatever he pleases.

The method itself, is super simple, a little too simple, but with some trading experience, a few "tweeks", some smart money management its a very workable
strategy to add to your toolbox in my opinion.

Indicator Optimisations:

5 minute chart 288 ema (instead of 200 ema)
5 minute chart 12 period Bollinger Band with a 0.5 standard deviation (instead of 10 period with 0.66 SD)

Apart from the 288 ema and the Bollinger Bands (12 / 0.5) the only other indicators I use are a simple sessions indicator and a countdown timer to keep me focused on when the current candle is going to close.

The sessions indicator just helps me keep a visual check of the current day's highs and lows.

When to trade this strategy is a very individual question and is completely up to the individual trader and the times they have available to focus laser-like on their chosen markets.

I will only trade this strategy from 5am New York time onwards.

What markets to trade this strategy should be based on what markets you are comfortable trading.

I trade this strategy on EURUSD, GBPUSD & GBPJPY.
