Good morning all!


Do the seasoned pivot traders exit at week end? Or hold in any cases? I am in the pips on aj and expect it to head north to S138 or S100 at least. Thank you.

depends.With Feds+NFP holding USD sell maybe not wise however I am holding my AJ longs

I was going to hold Cad shorts over the weekend but decided to take profit due to the direct correlation with West Texas Crude...drop from 66 to 62 is significant...could see more weakness in Cad against Dollar...but that is just me....

Closed AU, UC and EU with gains. As expected, these were the first trades after my costly mistake and like clockwork, back to business. Was a bit cautious so passed on NU, AC, AJ and UJ but seeing them work out also was encouraging.

I have been spending more time studying fundamentals which was my weakest link and it is amazing how along with Pivots they give me the info necessary to make better decisions. Now once I trust on executing my analysis I would be at another level which is my current goal.

Here is a look at USD for next week so we can see forecasts, taken from Trading Economics which is I believe a great source to have on your tools list, it is for me. Will work on calendar for next week.

fundamentals are utmost important to include in ones trading decision, also i always keep my eyes on the usd index when trading usd crosses.

its a puzzle and we have to try our best at putting the pieces together and as long we make green pips all is good.

Discipline and winning attitude
There´s a couple of "secret fibonacci numbers", which are supossed to sometimes create some massive reactions.
0,886 which is the square root of 0,786
0,9441 which is the square root of 0,886

Wonder if anybody knows how to program them as PIVOTS.
And wonder what the reaction would be to those levels.

They don´t bounce too often, but when they do...(even in monthly charts).

Here´s an example, on a NZDUSD Day chart..

Mundo , here in Canada , Regulation Controls associated with ANY PROJECT that can impact our Natural Environment are extremely "tight". The change in Government in Alberta is NOT going to speed up the Pipeline Process one iota. Here in Canada , the Treaty Rights of our First Nations Peoples are respected , for the most part.
Alberta has been in "irrational exuberance mode " for years and have wasted Billions of Dollars in Royalties. Now , Alberta is crying "poor mouth".
The loss of 130K jobs in Alberta is simply the "cutting of fat" , that has always existed in the Oil Industry in Alberta. Hell , you can't get Albertan children to get out of bed for a job that pays less than $18 per hour. Here on the EAST COAST , many grown adults have jobs that pay less than $14.00 per hour.
Had Alberta followed exactly what the Leaders in Norway have been doing since the 1950's , Alberta too , would be sitting on 1 TRILLION DOLLARS IN CASH like Norway.
However , nooooo , Alberta wanted everything yesterday and have never planned for tomorrow , next week , next month , 10 years from now.
The younger generation of Canadian kids will absolutely NOT give in to the Oil Industry and sacrifice our beautiful wilderness areas for money.

Alberta sells , what Albertans think is their Oil , it's actually Canadian Oil , at a $15 per barrel discount to the US. Cudo's to the US negotiators because that is the only way that the US would agree to buy Canadian Tar Sands Oil.
Albertans still think that a Pipeline to the Coast of British Columbia will solve all of its financial woes by opening up "new markets" to the Oil.
Tar Sands Oil is "dirty" and much harder to refine than WTI.
While Oil is worth 12 to 15% of our GDP , AGRICULTURE is the largest contributor to our GDP at 18 to 20% of GDP , depending on whose reports one wishes to believe.
Can't wait until the US News next week and see how the Loonie responds to falling Oil Prices and possible good US News.

Tough week, but still got some profit: 1.1%, up to 8.1% this month.
I had some losses on UC short earlier this week, but recovered on EU long and UC short reload.

I think you are harsh on him.He is a Canadian and he cares about the country and that's his view.I don't think he disrespects Alberta folks.Its his opinion.

Hi Davit yes i was harsh but honest , your comments regarding me about Israel , i was in living in a kibbutz being attacked in 76 so your misleading comment regarding what i might criticize oils anit oils but the market seems positive about Alberta and its oil

My comment was not about you.I have no idea about your past.I was just making a point that criticism is healthy and necessary part of what we know as civilization.In today's unhealthy PC culture people are afraid to say what they think which brings me back to GreenEarth comments.I thought it was refreshing insight.
