Probably not a great test as it was Easter Monday however I ran same settings on 15M, 30M and 1H Setups to compare. The lower timeframe setups don't seem to be fairing that well at this stage. I will run for a few more days and see how we go. Maybe an Equity SL would stop and reset them and give them a better chance once they go into DD however I have a feeling the DD times and amount will outstrip the baskets. I will run for a few more days, maybe reset at start of Sydney Open for each day. After that I will add an Equity SL and see how that goes for the rest of the week.
At present 1H timeframe seems to be working. Maybe a 1H, 4H and Daily test might be worth a look too.

My computer wants me to restart, so I will start fresh again tonight. Am also ditching the 15min for now, it did ok on the bank holiday maybe running it on low volume pairs during sydney/tokyo is the trick. Thinking of being more selective with the pairs that I run on the 1H by pretending to create an RSI or TDI or whatever basket then running those pairs individually. However that will have to wait due to a slightly comical family situation i got myself into I am working off my small laptop that does not support HD... perhaps I'll take over the living room TV

I reset my dashboard to the latest version over the weekend so it now shows the drawdown instead of the cycle profit.
Still in overall profit since I started this. What is now becoming interesting is that the TS is starting to close losing trades as opposite signals occur.
It could be argued that if I had enabled addons with marty then possibly those trades may well have been winners prior to a change of signal direction.
I'll let it run to sort itself out.

I was wondering in respect to the Add-On trades, would it be possible to add a step order setting so that the add to trades can be stepped by a certain amount?
I am seeing that a lot of the time, when the trade goes against you like the one in the pic that a lot of the orders are stacked right at the original buy/sell price and then not far off. If there was a possibility of adding a step order, it could space the add-on trades. In the attached pic, there is about 60pips in DD so if the step order was 10 pips then you would see a nice 10 pip or so spacing between the add on trades which would also reduce the DD.
Also if the pair starts going in our favor then the later add-on trades would be in profit a lot sooner and help reduce the DD a lot quicker and would mean possibly less recovery to head into profit?
Food for thought anyway.

This demonstrates what can happen without having a reasonable Basket SL to prevent such run away DD. I'm leaving it run tonight just to see what happens, but I think after this week I may be placing some sort of SL with the Cycle trader.

Since last week I have been playing with a different way of doing the add to trades when the trade is moving against you. As we all know finding the exact swing point is very hard to do and the swing point tends to repaint quite a bit at times. In the present version of the Cycle TS when this swing point repaints it adds a new trade and they have a tendency to bunch up in one area. What I have been trying is something similar to a grid where fixed add points based on the ATR are placed on the chart when a trade is opened. Because this method uses the ATR this grid spacing is adjusted to each pair rather than having a fixed spacing of a certain number of pips which doesn't match the overall pip movement of each pair as one size doesn't fit all. Also with the algo for this spacing that uses the ATR other factors are used to determine this spacing and as more add lines are added they are placed closer and closer together. Also there is a setting in the settings where you can expand or compress this entire range that these add to grid lines are placed, these act as hidden pending orders. Below is a test that was started this morning on the H4, the second screen shot shows how these lines were placed on the chart when the trade was opened. When one of these is hit by the price it is erased and replaced of course with a buy or sell order and so on. In this screen shot none have been hit so far as the price did not retrace far enough from the entry to trigger the first one. This way should also cut down on the number of open trades. Will see how it goes the rest of the week. I am still using the same Cycle = 3 and Candle = 0 for this test on the H4 with add on active and Marty active also. In this case a possible 9 add ons are possible.

I decided to close down my continuing Monday open Cycle trades with a loss, they were too exposed for me:
The Basket Trader Swings fared better, with better recovery because of the frequent collection of profits and the lower number of Add-ons.
Disabling Marty on Basket trader was not beneficial:

Another couple of setups with Basket Trader TS:
SEMex(3,2)+SWGex(3,2,48) : continuation of Monday's open, was able to recover nicely before I manually closed with 200pips Profit.
HASe((2,13,2,21)+SWGex(5,2,48) : the idea here is for Swing trades to only go in direction of the long term trend, good start:
