On the H1 chart 200 EMA sits at 1.1250/55... that's the area what I am waiting for to see bear reaction.

Edit: aaand I got stopped out at 1.1234 with +30 pips profit.. was a nice rally.. I will wait on sidelines for the next bull run

Reason 1: It is because 1.12345 was support area.. then why waste 1 pip if you know that support is violated? In my case I put my SL half pip below my Support level.

Reason 2: My risk was 30 pips.. I therefore didn't want to give back at least 30 pips (1 to 1 R/R). Once I saw I could lock it in I didn't hesitate to do so.

H1 Status Update

Don't rush for your sell orders. It will take time until we arrive at potential sell zone. The previous shark pattern is cancelled. The one on the chart is the fresh one and targets sit between 1.1273 and 1.1298 roughly.

*1.1222 is nearest support on H1 and might get retested.

Do you guys think it could pull back before shooting up to 1.1280 zone?
1H chart seems pretty overbought, so maybe is wiser to wait a bid to entry again, do you agree?

edit: pheraps it could bounce on the 15M 200EMA

I would say wait for signals on the charts. m15 and h1 suggests its still going up so I would wait for bearish signals before entering short.

It will pullback between 1.1280 - 1.1287

I have sold 2 lots here at 1.125 (almost), my reasoning is that it has been a major resistance point in the last little while, and I am hoping it pulls back just a bit before going further up.

My TP for one is a small 1.1235 and the other, I will just wait and see, ideally around 1.122 or 1.120, but I will SL to +1 as soon as it drops 10-15 pips.

If this looks like it won't work out and we get a new high, I will close probably at 1.126.

well european PMIs and retail sales have been very positive today. and putting it together with the negative news on the USD yesterday should give a slight positive momentum.

but of course the carry traders are always there. they don't give a damn about short term fundamentals.

well... it seems this Shark will play out. Holdemtrader is pointing to a volume concentration point around 1.1300 in futures... that would correspond to 1.1280+- in the spot - your potential Shark point C.

Anyhow, what do you see after that? I might feel consolidation tomorrow and a potential break up (or down) on payroll...

I really don't think that anyone uses a carry trade strategy these days because interest rates in advanced economies are too low to warrant the risk.

certain broker are meanwhile banning carry trade and make you sign that... and will close your account once they detect carry trade activities.

I see an "Inverted Head & Shoulders" pattern slowly building on H1.. The point D of the target of shark pattern that you see on my H1 chart (which can trigger a bullish 5-0 pattern later) will probably become the right shoulder (1.1227 area). Plenty of time to decide for long-term buy opportunities. No rush..

#gann at 11240 is three quarters of the bull complete in merely one eight the bull time, so your D looks good before we slowly complete remaining quarter of the bull before bears are back in charge, not much left on the bear side but thats a while in future

what she often will do from three quarters is pull back two quarters to one quarter then that leaves three quarters to complete so you get the most pain and the best symmetry

Cancelled pending buy order, did not realize that ADP Non farm was coming out soon. Will wait for after news before making a new order.

according to Holdemtrader 1.1227+- (spot - i have to mention because he is working with futures and therefore his values are a bit different) was market balance on Friday... and since market balance points holding volume, they make good minor resistance/support levels....
So, the potential H&S set up you projected might play out...
