Consolidating at support. Either it breaks or it spikes. Seems I love the spike idea. I bought 1.1217, 1.1218 and 1.1220 (0.1 X 4). All stops at 1.1170. I'll leave this trade over the weekend (for a potential gap) except it spikes tonight, which I doubt.

As I can see gap up opening may be around 1.1227 to 1.1232

That is true. I am going to give hugs and kisses and thanks for the wonderful job she did, and the terrific life she has lived.

Interesting story for you, digger. Her parents had to move out of South Dakota during the dust bowl in the 1930's. The dust almost killed her younger brother, he could not breath. They were farmers and moved on to greener pastures.

Her younger bro passed a few years ago and I wish I'd gone up to see him. Had not seen him since mid 1970's as he moved to wyoming to raise cattle.

The EUR/USD continues with a downtrend as the price is magnetically pulled towards the W L4 level. In the 4h chart, we can see that weekly support is close - 1.1203. A rejection from the POC zone 1.1230-50 should target 1.1203. A close below 1.1200 might provide a continuation towards 1.1124. From intraday perspective 1.1200 is a more realistic target due to the ATR that is low - 44 pips in the last five days. Daily close is essential as the close below 1.1200 is bearish while a close above 1.1250 might turn the trend next week to bullish.

H1 Status Update

My plan for next week is simply continuing trading the potential shark pattern.

I started waiting for B point to complete. It is a zone that sits at: 1.1197 to 1.1236. If the pattern plays out, no matter how many dips market shows, price eventually should go up to build the C leg of this pattern. Where C would end is not clear yet, because I am still waiting for B point to complete. IF we had to guesstimate a minimum target based on the current situation, I would say it should go up at least towards 1.1310 area. I will update the chart once I have more information.

And last but not least: a failure of this pattern would be if the lowest point: 1.1197 breaks. (FYI, I am considering +- 10 pips tolerance here which means I will give up the moment price touches 1.1186).

If EURUSD goes below 1.12 next week Trump will have a fit because he already said that the $ is too strong and that hurts the economy. Maybe US banks will buy the pair in drove next week in order to keep the $ lower.

It seems price is desperate to try and breach 1.12345 yet again, and this time i think they might succeed. Not on the first try however, there will be a rather strong rejection there imo. But perhaps the retest will. Will look for a H4 candle close above that if not it will be just another bounce. Although i guess if it bounces against it enough times it will break through.

Current H4 candle failed to close past it, again. But its only by 1 pip which is the closest we have ever gotten. Expecting a pull back and then a retest, maybe Frank or London can give it the push it needs.

Edit: take all my guesses with a pinch of salt, i can't seem to understand how this M5 push is still going despite decreasing volume and momentum. Oanda's book orders also show a strong number of Sell orders lined up and yet they don't seem to be making a dent on the charts.

Currently the M15 candles are back in a fight for passing the 200EMA. It seems like this time the resistance there is not so aggressive. I still expect a rise and keep my long order for now. After updating Weekly and my H1 charts I will share more for today.

Weekly Status Update

Here are my quick weekly levels and thoughts:

  1. As you can see, 1.1217 level shows already supportive priceaction and forces candles to stay above today's London opening.
  2. If 1.1217 would break, I believe that weekly candles would still respect the falling wedge we are in and continue to stay above 1.1166 area.
  3. The nearest resistance on weekly is the red 10 wma line on the chart: 1.1319 area and that's where I am targeting my long orders for now. The rest is easy to read from the chart and not much to add. I hope it helps

So we have a break out of the down trend on H4. The scenario crystalized a bit.
Now I would expect forming a new up trend as the demand zone has been guarded.
My Longs are now on 1.1230 and 1.1232. SL is where the red line lies on (1.1175).

H1 Status Update

I will continue to trade the shark pattern but later, after it is complete, it might also shift into a 5-0 pattern that could give us additional trading possibilities. Time will tell.

Yes, I marked the potential "shark" target zone with 2 horizontal purple lines. Roughly the 1.1310/40 area. There I will look for sell setups. Then if 5-0 plays out price will stop at point D. If I see solid support I will try to buy the 5-0 which is actually anticipating the completion of an AB = CD pattern that followed the shark pattern.

*On a side note: Of course often market doesn't go straight up or down. Therefore be aware that we will have dips that can scare bulls. Overall I still will try to ONLY BUY dips today until we reach target. I am not thinking of risking sell orders and even sell scalpers before price arrives at shark sell zone. FYI..
