DislikedSome analysts would say that the uncertainty in the US and Eurozone has led to investors seeking buying opportunities in emerging markets - however I doubt that is the case, most likely the bigger banks looking to wipe speculators off their long positions on the USDZAR. Like you said, it really is difficult to find any meaningful fundamentals to justify ZAR strength at the moment.Ignored
DislikedI have a question. The ZAR goes to 14.10 when $ at it's low for the day. $ goes up, ZAR goes to 14.18. $ drops 5 points and ZAR drops to 14.10 again and can't get anywhere? why? Am i missing something or is the ZAR as slow as the South African economy.Ignored

I noticed price movement dwindled after noon est up until NY session close. Yes. I was watching and it was frustrating. Addition: Tomorrow is Major US data release. Usually, the dollar stalls prior to this type of a release which accounts for the lack of momentum in the market. {image}Ignored

DislikedTechnically, here's the issue with usdZAR Monthly: Down {image} Weekly: Down {image} Daily and below: Ready to come up. So it would seem the monthly and weekly traders are bent on selling this bad boy and this pair is traded by millionsaires. I gotta wait. I'm originally a scalper, so this is new to me and I shant forget it. Sometimes something will cause it to swing with the dollar, maybe it's because there's a fundamental in play, but when the stochastics are not in confluence, its a risk. That being said I read the stochastics well and I guarantee...Ignored
