My apologies for not be able to help you.

I did look into maybe changing the code, and could see some places that would make a difference. But unfortunately I could only change some numbers and it will not suite the purpose.

Contact Bushy om PM, I really think he will not mind assisting you.

Hey Herman thank you for looking at the code. Really appreciate it. i was reading some guide on converting mt4 to mt5 and tired for several hours on metaeditor lol. this programing stuff is so hard to understand. Will contact Bushy.

The key part is what is happening at the right hand side of the chart. I use FastlineTMA (for the alert function) and TMAtrue to see when the tide turns. Both will show exact same thing only for the present candle if the settings match. What happens 50 bars ago is irrelevant as long as what happens now is correct.

@tranqility -- thank you for pointing out the FastlineTMA. I found a version of the indicator -- probably not the same as yours (since no alerts) -- and while experimenting found it most useful. Thank you...

Another good week for me. My win rate is down but I have been working on recognizing and cutting poor trades quickly. I got caught on wrong side of the Brexit vote at end of week so have large DD on the GU. Hopefully the Brexit roller coaster will put me back in the black next week if the market takes out the upper target.

Sorry I'm a bit dyslexic, the indicator is FastTMAline. Here is the one I use from Al's Extreme TMA thread. You can edit so it loads with your preferred settings.

George has referred to the fractal nature of the market a number of times -- i.e. not only do patterns repeat, but the same patterns are used to make larger patterns. I think the chart you linked to is another example of that. You can see the same patterns used to build larger patterns.

I don't yet understand fully how to take advantage of the fractal patterns -- but it is certainly interesting to spot them.

Thanks. What I wanted to point out was seeing what targets the MM was going for, and looking back it seemed they were taking out the mid-November 2018 lows. (In that case, it took a zoom out on the Daily chart to see that particular target).

Think of fractals as highs and lows of a larger or smaller time frame. A fractal top using 5 bars on an M5 is simply an upper wick on an M25 chart. So, when you are looking at any wick on the time frame you are on, you are looking at a fractal on some lower time frame. You can then look at a wick on your observation chart and go down and wait for a fractal to appear on the trade chart for a tighter entry. I only responded here because it was you who asked.

I just wanted to say I have been following the thread closely and appreciate all of your insight!! It has been eye opening and I am grateful for all that you share unselfishly. Whenever you are available for a skype session I would be very appreciative to have the opportunity.
