Hi ranilo, Thanks for your hard work. Just wondering if you have the "engulfing bar" indicator shown on your charts? Where it draws the blue lines. Just looking to put that on my chart at the moment without the other indicators. If so, does it have an email or push notification alert that will display or send the value of the blue line?

Sorry but I do not use an indicator for the "Engulfing Bar".. I trained my eyes to look for it manually every 4 hours...

The blue lines are the daily open... Cheers!

Good luck with the new thread / method. If I may make one suggestion - perhaps running this as a journal would have been an idea, as then one would have been able to follow the natural progression of your method(s), without you having to bin lots of interesting info once you moved on and improved things?

Just a thought.

I did enjoy your journey so far, so will indeed follow how you get on over on the new thread.

Thank you all for subscribing and participating but this Hybrid System with combination of 3 systems really worked sometime in the past but not in all market conditions....



So, I had to go back and test real time the 3 core systems of this one...

Unfortunately, these two does not work all the time!
Simple H4 Mobile Trading System
There is no Magic Moving Average - You need only one


And the only system that worked and stayed consistently profitable is

Davit's Pivot Trading



So, please go and learn it and never give up coz the day will come when you will just say to yourself that you should've known this before and that there is still something free knowledge from a good hearted individual who shared his strategy and time to strangers online without charging anything in return...

P.S. I hope to see you in Davit's thread someday too coz the people there are great

and you will also learn from the other experienced traders that learned from Davit...

You also showed the proper approach to due diligence when putting together a strategy.

Nope I am not confused brother...

I know and fully understand some of Andre's teachings are effective yes.. I also traded his system for a few months... I learned his price action approach on his piercing candle and market structure explanation is effective too.. I also agree with him saying price is important, yes.

But I am ditching his MA idea coz of the fact that if you enter using the MA, you don't have the best price anymore...

Plus the number reason I disliked his comment here coz of the fact that he just keeps saying that Davit's method does not work and he keeps insulting Davit as a clown... In reality, Davit showed more and taught more people than Andre... Also, if Andre really is consistently profitable, he will still be showing his trade explorer up to now where he stated he grew an account exponentially, yes it might worked for a short time, but where is it now???

I also asked him before to try his trading strategy again on a more decent regulated True ECN broker and replicate his results, but he never responded... Probably he just can't do it again anymore...

In short, some of Andre's teachings work but he could not walk the talk.. That's his big difference with Davit..

As i told before every strategy/system/method will work if you execute it well avoiding their limitations. Anyway i told he is confused, not you. If you followed some of that methods or you agree with him in some parts its right. But my answer him was you can't believe widely in established "facts" in forex.

One example is link I posted in your other thread or just my thread about how SL is not responsible to kill accounts as many people believe. Anyway its ok your point of view. All is subjective in Forex. Facts are little really. Regards

Welcome Tidal... I still strongly suggest that you stick with Davit's Pivot thread coz that's where the real nuggets are.. The guy is really a good person.

Oh okay.. Haha! I thought your message is for me. But that was for Andre. Probably edit it to make it clear for him.. He might get confused again..

But yeah, you're right... There's no clear black and white on forex, otherwise the geniuses will be the one to succeed in this industry...
