I would like to share with you a common price movement and would like the opportunity to make a question...

How often do you guys see this trade working? And if there is any other thing to observe in this kind of movement that may give us some tips about the probability of it working? Usually it offer some wonderful risk reward.
Its kind of a gartley...

Happened twice btw
Any of you like that type of trade and would like to share any observation? Its ABCD retracement inside a MAIN SWING to retrend.

Does it happen a lot?
Where would you place your stop?
Where would you exit?

I believe this is what Damian refers to as an SOS3 entry (strength of signal: 3) or the strongest entry signal. Stop would go beneath point X which forms MAIN SWING XA. Trailing, by Damian's rules, would begin at the 1:1 of XA or the 127% extension of XA, whichever occurs first.

What bothers me sometimes is that placing the stop in the right place or safest place would lead to a 1:1 RR or less. Do you feel that?
I mean, imagine the two last retracements that you drew.

Would you place your entry in the second one believing that harmonic would work and place stop behind previous swing? How you guys would feel? Or not take the trade?
It seems that chasing a good RR is confronting my analysis sometimes. Someone can share your own experience about?

I do not trade the smaller orther flow. I use it to enter in the direction of my next expectation. I look for a AB CD OR AB=CD. To enter at D in the direction of the main swing X-A. Strength of signal #3 contains ratio,structure and harmonir confluence all three. My Stop is always Above or hunder my main swing.

I hope everyone is trading will. my long term trades got stopped out last Friday. Monday morning my time, I got one break even trade on the 233 tick chart. Then last night (Monday night my time) I had to go to the doctor's because I turned yellow within 8 hours. The doctor was concerned that I might be experiencing liver failure. So the doctor sent me to the Emergency Room. They gave me all sorts of blood, X-rays, ctscan, EKG, etc. In the end they found that my liver was inflamed and I had a blocked common bile duct. So I went into surgery this morning (Tuesday here) for an ERCP. I am now resting in a hospital bed on my cell phone. They say I will be here for quite a while. Because they still aren't 100% sure what the problem is. And to think that this all started with a peptic ulcer, which can also cause havoc if it is bleeding. So, unfortunately I won't be trading again for a while, but I still enjoy reading my home room thread while having lots of time. Take care all and happy trading.
Luck has no place in trading. Leave that for the poker table.

Hope you get better PMU

-12 points on the YM today. 1 BE, 1 loser. Nothing but expectation failures left and right. I am proud of myself for today though, I sat through a short position for nearly 45 minutes, and at one point was up about 27 or so points. I didn't start trailing though because my plan didn't call for it. It was a purely mechanical trade. I'm getting a lot better at executing, sadly a lot of expectations have been failing lately When I would take a loss back in the day, I would call it for the day as I was too scared of losing money. Now, if I see the proper setup, I take it no matter what. I owe a lot to Damian.
