When one reads through the many,many threads in the forum it is refreshing to see that the Village Idiots have stayed away from this thread(apart from Myself) ...I guess this because it is low key and not many indicators....Afterall these years I still consider myself to be a Lay Trader but one who can still win a few shillings but this came from years of hard work....Nothing in life is free except a lotto win and I can not even win a Chook Raffle.....Sorry about the ramblings .

there is a potential of visiting 1.35 in GBPUSD till next weeks UK parliament votes..(edit: till 12-15 march..for timeline, https://www.ft.com/content/64e7f218-...a-1e14ce4af89b ) but after strong daily up movements there can be retracement today/tom..hard to take position now..i sold some EurGbp at 0.8545 but it seems not a perfect idea since oversold already but on the other side momentum is strong..

indeed..i m tired of 2 things: Brexit and Trade tariffs..but what we can do.. except trying to benefit from those nonsense politics..

it seems brexit news will hold Gbp and Euro (partly) up until mid March..then i expect USD will dominate again because i don t see any real strenghts of UK and EU economies over USA fundamentally..

on the other hand, imho, trade tariffs news pumped by Trump co. will make Stocks (Sp500 etc.) up and up for a few months at least..stocks trading can be alternatve which you may seriously think to diversify positions..but, always remember that drops in stock markets may become very wild comparing to currencies as we have experienced at last December..

lastly, Pak-Indian tension is worth to follow closely especially if yu are interested in Yen pairs which re traditionally risk-senstive.. my UJ bias was/is bullish but since political tension may evolve to dangerous levels in Asia, better to be more careful with Jpy pairs..
