H4 Status Update

I am checking for a potential H4 candle close below 1.1352. Unless that happens I prefer to stay long, but please notice that bears are trying inside these hours. So careful here, and we have to be extra careful today once London opens.

Ditched my buy hedge for a couple. Re-entered on a sell on the touch of M5 lwmas. On the H1 it does seem to be a fierce tug of war with bulls regaining the upper hand from the morning’s drop. Lwmas acting as a nice cushion while momentum slowly skewing from down to up. Gonna be an interesting hour (I hope).

Lots of resistance above 1359 on H4 chart - i see nothing but wicks and inverted hammers - it does keep trying tho!
supporting trendline on H1 and H4 still intact... we are coming to crunch time today tho, the supporting trendline will approach the resistance level at 1360-1370 in the next 12 hours - so one of these will break. It also happens in confluence with powell testimony later so i guess its going to be wait and see until then... expect it to range between these 2 levels until then - so im afraid we are probably in for a dull london/frank session...?

an hourly close above the 1.1355 zone will favour the bulls i am already long @ 1.1352. whenever there is a consolidation a break and rentry of some sort of support/resistance is required before the continuation of the move (stop hunts or a required correction before the real move can happen)

My thoughts: EU 4hr chart

1. Pink line is horizontal resistance which sits at 1.1393 area.
2. Top of ascending wedge sitting at 1.1409 + some pips
3. 61.8% fib retracement of the fall from top to bottom which coincides with wedge top at 1.1409 + - some pips.
4. The 4hr 200 SMA which may also act as some resistance.

Verdict: No more shorting for me until at least around scenarios 1 - 3.

Thanks for the input. But for now (because I’m still in a sell trade) I will just continue trailing until stop out or when it hits my 1.133x level. As of right now I just can’t see myself jumping into a buy yet. Maybe if the current hour closes back above 1.1350. But good luck for your trade, green pips to you.

so far it has failed to close inside the 1.1355 zone minimum TF for me for a close candle is 15 min. cant trust 5 min candles. it looks like an M formation is being formed on the dxy, 1.1345 should be the bottom for the day if this wants to go beyond 1.1370.

seems direction is not still clear so I closed my Buy position @1.1357, had open @1.1347, SL 15 pips, sideline for a while waiting some down to enter again

Dear friends, allow me to say a few words about the situation with voting.
1. Moty doesn't do anything wrong here. And he is not a troll. Despite the fact that Moty's problems lie in the field of his psychology, I think he is a positive person. And it costs a lot. I do not ignore Moty, but I also do not look through his posts, they do not bother me.
