hum...structure as Knkie said hasn't negated the upside yet.

Got shorty on the M.

The move down was so fast, I put market order above 1.1360 and ended up filling at 1.1348. Over 12 point slip. Maybe this broker had a hiccup?

Anyway, back on track. No reason to stray from market plan. Buy low, sell high.

Might be time for a new broker mate, it didn't dip THAT fast and even then thats an insane slip.

Unless it was a huge position...

It's first time mate. I think it was my bad as well as I had to change the lot size. It was 3 as it saves last trade size, I only wanted .3 lots.

Plus l had hiccup on my end as snowing heavy here and lines loaded with heavy snow dropping and shaking. But still not happy as I have had better response during NFP.

EDIT
It was pretty fast for me. My trigger finger a lot slower these days as I prefer to miss a trade than get in too soon. And I like to double check my entries, defiantly did not want 3 lots short right after a red announcement as these things can whip either direction on a fat finger trade.

idk man even with 3 lots it shouldn't slip by 12 pips. 1.2 pips maybe but 12 is insane (that's some peoples' TP).

Trying another sell. Was half asleep and missed the swing high so smaller position and BE +1 quick to minimise risk.

Looking to take half off at either 1.13349 or 1.1330 depending on momentum then the other half to trail through Asia session if not stopped out first.

Not 3 lots, only .3 - not size. I think it was internet. I noticed FF went down as well for a while and my Bloomberg froze as well. That's trading.

Much faster than my first ever trade when I bought bonds. Had to take the train into the city, sit in the brokers office to watch the ticker. There was no internet back then and only quotes were closing price in newspaper so had to go to broker's office for the ticker. Took all day.

Wow that's old school. Think I probably wasn't even born yet LOL only ever saw it in the movies. Sounds like a lot of 'fun' though haha so glad and thankful we have the internet now

Okay forget the triple swap. Closed the rest at 1.13372. Call it an M5 double bottom, call it a retest of the bottom before moving up, call it a potential bounce off support, call it an up move right before roll over to kill my (bad luck with) triple swap gains.

But more importantly, 5am here and I just wanna sleep with a peace of mind and no open positions

Circa 1981 - Right after the Hunt Brothers corner on Silver was busted. I wish I could have held onto those. I seem to remember 14 3/8 percent. On US 30 year bonds I think. Hard to remember and I was not keeping trading journal then.

But alas had to sell them to pay rent. A year later the wife got pregnant and I had work hours cut to 1 day a week from 5 days. I was fortunate to keep health care or we would have been in the poor house.
