Nice and easy...
Of course it's what you get used to, but that position for playing feels uncomfortable to me. I have friend who plays classical, and that's the way he plays as well.....but I can't do it. By the same token, I can't play with my guitar around my knees like Slash does either!!

I hate the "foot stool", for example.
So I used (PAST TENSE!) a particular cushion... or a tool like the one you can see in the Tatyana videos (and I love it)

Yes, it's a massive can of worms isn't it?!?!
The electric is easier to play than the acoustic in the way that the action is lower and the strings are under less tension just because it's electric and also it has the 628mm 'Gibson' scale, and the acoustic has higher action, heavier strings and 648mm scale length. Most of my playing is seated, but when standing the strap takes care of the instrument so I don't have to worry about it. When seated the acoustic also takes care of itself just because of it's size compared to the electric, but I do tend to cross my legs to raise both instruments up as this makes barr chords much easier.
This is about my posture.....although it varies....doh!! But you're right, flexibility is the key.

Interesting for sure. An acquired taste, as was Kate Bush, but an amazing talent just the same.
