Weekly charts are interesting right now

EURUSD continued its sideways movement in a trading range between 1.1215 and 1.1570. As long as 1.1570 resistance holds, the price action in the range could be treated as consolidation for the downtrend from 1.2555 (Feb 16, 2018 high), a breakdown below 1.1215 support could trigger further downside movement towards 1.1000. On the upside, a break of 1.1570 resistance could take the price to next resistance level at around 1.1800.

GBPUSD broke below 1.2940 support, suggesting that the upside movement from 1.2396 had completed at 1.3217 already. Deeper decline could be expected in a couple of weeks, and next target would be at 1.2500 area. Resistance levels are at 1.3040 and 1.3217, only break above these levels could trigger another bullish movement towards 1.3500.

EURUSD’s downside movement from 1.1514 extended to as low as 1.1314. Further decline is still possible after a minor consolidation and next target would be at 1.1250 area. Near term resistance is at 1.1350, a break of this level could bring the price back to 1.1400 area.

GBPUSD stays in a falling price channel on the 4-hour chart and remains in the downtrend from 1.3217. Further decline is still possible in a couple of days and next target would be at 1.2750 area. Key resistance is at 1.2996, only break above this level could signal completion of the downtrend.

EURUSD broke below 1.1289 support and extended its downside movement from 1.1514 to as low as 1.1267. Further decline is still possible after a minor consolidation and next target would be at 1.1200 area. Near term resistance is at 1.1315, only a break of this level could bring the price back to 1.1380 area.

EURUSD remains in the downtrend from 1.1514, the price action from 1.1257 is likely consolidation for the downtrend. Key resistance is at 1.1341, as long as this level holds, the downside movement could be expected to continue and next target would be at 1.1200 area. Only a break of 1.1341 resistance could signal completion of the downtrend.

According to analysts at the Union Bank of Switzerland, EUR is likely to lead to more strength in the short-term as the indices that measure negative data surprises are close to all-time lows for the Eurozone, and we are likely to see a rebound in sentiment soon.

While not strictly a weekly chart as you requested, this is how I track the pairs for breakouts and then, hopefully, low risk entry and continuation trades

Magenta lines are the previous week's high and low. RWL and RWH are projected weekly targets from average weekly range of 13

The list on the right shows that very few have broken out this week, as well as EUR is weak, and USD strength

Knowing where to look for a trade helps, but not so much this week, still, there is Thursday and Friday Europe and US sessions to go

You will get more participation on this thread by tweaking your first post. Traders may concentrate on the weekly tf for trend and reaction zones but may enter on lower tfs. As a swing trader, I use weekly for the big picture and reaction zones in a top-down trading system. Remember most FF members are intra day traders, including scalpers.

One thing I did notice by weekly charts, every pair with NZD in it went one way last week, and this week, with the interest rate news, totally opposite

I thought is was strange last week, price action, but couldn't figure it out

I have seen "pump and dump" on a pair like GBPUSD for the day before big news, but never picked up on it by weekly candles

Tell me if I'm not right...
