great method. been practicing for 2 days with great results. Halarious that i was learning a method using indicators that i needed to test thousands of indicators to find a combination of them that will guide my trading and then i find this page lol. much much better approach. Thank you very much OP.

A trader needs to have objective rules to determine trend. Do you use HH-HL, LH-LL method, or trendlines or an indicator or a combination of indicators to define a trend? Then what about time frames? What about look back period? The length of the look back period changes the picture completely. If you use HH-HL method, what about swings? Do you have an objective method to determine swing highs / lows? If a trader cannot answer these questions, then it means trend determination is random.

You said for H1 trading, you would look at H4 and D1 trend, and it was obvious Feb 6th down bar on NZDJPY would be a trend change. Is one daily down bar enough to change the trend? Or 2 down bars or 3? Look what happened today.

It is easy to say "find trend first, or trade in trend direction", but how do you determine it is what matters the most for trend traders.

Awesome stuff! I like being on the same footing with the big boys. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. I'll be a regular from now on. First, I going to work on learning the shared info. I know it will make a radical difference in my trading.

hello FXCyborg...question...would the following chart using the accumulation in aqua still be valid after another accumulation in magenta? price did return and triggered and there was no valid setup in the magenta accumulation area...just curious

Thanks once more, for sharing this trading method. I guess there is no doubt that it has shaken a lot of traders and we all want to work, for all of us.

May I make a suggestion: Why don't you do a webinar, through facilities like Teamviewer/skype, where you could break it down clearly, for all of us, showing us, clearly when:
1.setups are valid and invalid.
2. valid and invalid engulfing candles
3. What you consider/don't consider accumulation. The reason I'm bringing this one up, is that I have seen some traders conclude a setup, in what looks like an up/down trend.
4. Identifying a setup on higher TF scaling it down to lower TF, showing us how you take/time your entries.

The reason for making such suggestion is that, I constantly notice traders on this forum, start to have different views on setups, including others posting charts with indicators trying to make your system what it is not ( from post 1).

Maybe some of us are not as smart as we thought we were, I mean, we might think we know what an engulfing candle is, but maybe when we hear your voice ( teacher) showing us step by step, it might make a difference.

Just my humble request.

Sounds a good suggestion and would appreciate if FXC would be kind enough to do such a thing. You are off course more than kind enough to share your knowledge and guiding the traders with your reviews. Though I too identify set ups, there are more things to be aware of before jumping into a trade.

Hope we are not asking too much.
