Alright to quick update, a bit jumpy day today, had some sweats around 2 trades, even though that performance at end of day was just as good as any, there were some swings in between. Loaded most of the size on one trade (ballz in both accounts) which did not behave as expected (was A grade play), it did eventually work out
but the unusual behaviour cased me to close it break even / slight loss, even though slight loss relevant to price action, the loss was quite substential due to large sized position. Made it all back on last two supply takeout plays, but really the lesson here is two fold: No matter how experianced you are with thousands of executed plays, knowing exactly what attributes fit A grade play there still will be sweats when holding large sized position, maybe this get easy for some, probably depends on what kind of deposit is backing you up in bank. Second part is, if you know your A grade play, one missed or screwed play will never be the downfal because there will be more to come around the corner. Anyways just something to always put in perspective.
AMRS was the one i loaded big, but it did not behave as usual, rare exception that happens to less than 5% of plays, but this was good enough to throw me of. Got pissed that i had to close it break even, as the borrows cost on the short were quite substential. (AMRS A grade weakness is same play as yesterdays two plays showed on thread).
Anyways didnt lose it, stayed disciplined only waiting for A grade plays, and then executed CVS and AMGN (above post) along with ATVI suply takeout. Those 3 worked all and brought the day to 2 R gain on equities.
This was perfect storm after AMRS break even trade to start revenge trading, pushing C grade trades to make back the comissions, but the experiance will eventually guide you to safe road.
Anyways just food for a thought.
