I Realise the 1H trend is berish, but I'm aiming for a retracement of 10 to 15 pips.

Entered this trade because I saw a beautiful setup on 30 min timeframe. Expecting EU to make a big jump from this point. Curious where FxCyborg would put his tp. I'm aiming previous neck on head and shoulders pattern. Lots of orders/liquidity there.

The 3rd bear bar shld only engulf the 2nd bull bar (by closing below its open).
But I think u can drill down to lower tf and see if the proper setup is there.

Hey FXCyborg ... so much quality information. Every night i go back to page 1 and reread ALL the threads. You are right when you say that you pick up little nuggets of information every time. So i reread everything and then i get a fabulous diagram like this which helps me more on the journey. YOU ROCK!

Just my 2 cents worth, but I would say that your engulfing bar is way too big, FX Cyborg said it should only engulf the second bullish bar, and not engulf both bars. Just keep trying because you almost have it down pat.
I just want to thank FX Cyborg again for a great thread, and for all your patients and perseverance with all the negative people that come in here. Here is a nice set up on the GBPUSD M5 from today.

Hi, I am learning myself and I think after the 3 bar setup is formed, actually the entry shld be triggered in the next bar since price came back down to entry line. I am thinking for small tf like 1m, it is better to enter early than late since 1 m trend is more short-lived.
Another possibility is to look for a setup on higher tf and use 1m for zooming in.

The problem here that I can see, is that you are trying to Buy in a down trend, but just keep trying and you will succeed.

Where's the setup WITHIN the zone? There isn't one.

You didn't go back to the 1 Min TF/CP and see if there was a setup within the setup. And you need to understand why you are taking setups that are not within a zone. If you decide to, you need to go back to a lower time frame if the setup on the 5 Min was not within an accumulation zone.

IDEALLY, you need the setup within the accumulation zone. generally best at the end of it - how do you know? because price will pull away from it. Once it does and you see the setup within the accumulation zone, the setup will be valid.

AND IF you want to get a better setup, higher probability, go down a time frame/compression and find the setup within the setup.

Hi, from my understanding, after you have 3 setup bars on a higher tf and then zoom in on a lower tf, the scope of bars to search for the setup should be within the 3 higher tf setup bars.
