The Low of the 00-00 4 hour bar is 12942.
Lets pretend we shorted the low break looking for 12932 with 20 stop and 1 per pip. (it can be 1 anything, penny, £ $ )

I think I am getting a hang of 00-00 H4 bar. Today played with entering on retrace and shorted a whole pip above ;-) But hey, every pip counts, right?

Chickened out and got out around 1.2925. ;-)

Hi Mr H,
i have spent thousands of hours chart watching, thousands and thousands of FD stats (locked in my traded Pc.)
1 pip of a 5 pip method is 20%.
Feel good about about making a % of a trade, even if you trade with a small bank roll.
Start small grow big....
I did it. i remember having very little ( that is a long story) a person can have a lot of property yet have no money in the bank?

i am not one for running Demo, but if you manually place trades on demo it is more realistic.
Try trading the 00-00 4 hour bar break or the second break if it happens. to get a feel.
and use small lots like you would in reality.
Don't come back saying you made 100k lol just say i made %%%%%%,
post is to everyone.

edit... stick to method and if method fails, wait to trade next day.
Do not fool yourself?????? post to everyone.

Your approach has finally made my P&L green.

On a different note, how often do you find yourself trading breakouts on the other side of 00-00 H4, 04-00 H4, and 08-00 M15, after a successful breakout?

excellent question....

I trade 08-00 15 minute bar break... one break for 5 and that is it.
i make 5 and leave it until next day,,,, enter a second trade after a win and you are then taking risk.
IF YOU DON'T TRADE YOU DON'T LOSE......

The 00-00 4 hour break is a different story.
todays 00-00 bar range is 14 and the adr is 95.
we can afford to hunt the ADR or part of it.

Don't forget, i was primarily trading the 00-00 bar to fix a bad trade...

someone asked...
i said mini level was hit but i kept quiet about the mini level low????? lol yeah right.

These are areas to aim for. we ere moving to that mini level low ( we made 20 points) and then it retraced.
This is trading, we had a 00-00 4 hr high break and we then had 12970 to look for +14 points. and maybe all the way up to the adr high.

Right now i do not know, i trade lines. so 30 points banked plus the 08-00 15 bar 5%.

today is easy, we had breaks and movement to make points.
We will normally get out when the movement stops/whips.
But always check that adr....
