I still don't get your logic...

Is what you have there also weekly pivot or it's Daily pivot?

Coz if weekly, then it's not supposed to change until a new weekly candle printed by the end of the week.. That's what Davit uses, Weekly Fibo Pivot. I believe what you have is Daily....

UPDATE:

So, I was able to reach an all-time high of 86% return since I started the live $100 account... But that was because I failed to manage risk by trading larger lots than I was supposed to... Which in the end, hit me like a rock...

(these were the biggest losses I had coz of so big lot sizes not suitable for the capital)

Now instead of steady increase at 86% going up, capital declined heavily on Feb 4 just because of one trade on EC where I used 0.26 lots...

So, in order to show this trading account that the strategy is really effective, I must reinforce strict money management. Coz it's useless to have a high winning rate if the lot size being used is not consistent most especially if that trade with big lot size went sour..

Starting today, will use a default of 0.01 lot on a $100 capital on all trades, and I will just slowly increase lot size by increment of $100 increase. Meaning if we already reached $200 capital, then we can use 0.02 lot size, $1000 capital will use 0.10 lot size while once we reached $10,000 that is the only time we will use 1.00 lot size...

So, this is the gameplan now... Nothing has changed on the strategy.. Just the money/risk management...

Moving forward, we hope that we get a positive result on this changes that I will be making...

Please make sure to be very familiar with Davit's pivot, their approach is very powerful and effective.

The only reason why I mixed this Hybrid system with Simple H4 Mobile Trading System is because having an additional confluence of 4H Engulfing (Bearish/Bullish) Candle is somehow a way of having more conviction that the trade will workout on the projected direction. It just means that there's more buying/selling power when a 4H candle was printed before entering a trade...

i will try to read David's thread. Hope can get the points correct.. I have 2 problems with my trade. I trade based on 1hour with entries based on 5min and 15min. Secondly, I book quick small profits and when I loose a few trade , there goes the capital. Trying to focus on 4 hours period from now onwards and see how much I can knowledge I can gain from David's before putting to trades.

This is one great example why we cannot solely rely on simple 4h mobile system... we need pivots...

On this chart you would take a buy trade as per 4h engulfing rules...But if you look further adding pivot rules, this trade should be short trade.

UPDATE on the System:

I am starting to move away from using 30 EMA as basis of any trades.

Coz we can still identify a good possible trade even without EMA, just use price action, pivots, anglegator and the arrows for a possible direction.

So, will be removing now the said indicator on all of my charts. Please also do your best to stop relying on the EMA, coz I even got a message from my old trader friend to not use Moving Averages anymore, removed it back then then added it again here.. But now I even got a message as well from Davit not to use it anymore and to train our eyes from looking at pivots only with price action.. So, that's definitely what I will be doing moving forward....

Best to remove bad habits/practices..

For those people who downloaded the Voty Pivot to see the previous weeks pivots, there's also an alternative provided by Nostromo on Davit's thread..

This is the same with Voty but without the swirly lines making your chart cleaner...

Yesterday's Good Trades...

Was able to spot 4H Engulfing Candle on CAD pairs and took the shot..
All qualifications, found... And that's it.. An easy profitable day..

If you guys are still following this:

You will see that I had some bad days were there were a lot of losses because I've tried hanging around on Davit's Pivot thread and tried imitating the way they trade, mostly anticipating a trade reversal, and placing multiple orders(hammering a trade)... Coz for me since they were successful, I thought I could replicate the same results.. But instead, I had more losers than winners... IN short, it does not work for me....

So, after yesterday of profitable trading, without looking any threads or comments of other traders, I was able to successfully nailed some good trades on my own that gave my equity a lift back up again...

NOW, even though this system is composed of Davit's Pivot, Hzs10's 4H engulfing and Andre's 30 EMA,I decided I have to stop checking their threads and stop trying to trade how they trade... Since I started my own thread, I will dedicate on trading exactly the way I trade this system on my own. ways.. But of course, I'm still giving a lot of credits to them and wish them success... Consistently, I will stick with this thread and doing my own thing, research and execution...

I have to unsubscribe to their threads so I won't be tempted to look at their updates and just focus on my own process so I can make PROGRESS on my trading....

Again, I will specify the difference of this system with the original.

Pivot thread - Advanced price action trading with multiple trades and trying to catch a good price before market goes in their direction, very good risk reward.
vs. Hybrid - I wait for 4H candle close as confirmation before entering a trade, entry might be late and missed some good few pips but I prefer for the market
to show its hands.

4H Simple System - Very good on finding a possible entry where market starts to go back and follow the dominant trend after some profit taking. That is why they use 30 EMA to identify the trend.
vs, Hybrid - I incorporated Pivots so I know where price might possible stop and reverse. Not just relying on candlestick patterns.

Andre's 30 EMA - good system to catch early price reversal(counter trend) in anticipation of new start of a trend once price pierced the 30 EMA.
vs. Hybrid - My system also catches trend following trades mostly on momentum build up.

So, it is totally up to you if you will stick in this system or go somewhere else.. All i know is this system works for me, and I will stick with it FOR GOOD!
I even placed a dedicated trade explorer for this system and just let the #s speak for itself. Total transparency for all!

I will use this thread as my trading journal too.. So, it's up to you guys if you will participate on looking and sharing for high probability trades day in day out...

P.S. - OH AND BTW, I AM BRINGING BACK ANDRE'S 30 EMA as additional reference to know if price is still trending or I am doing a counter trend trade...

I am in to follow. Importantly, any strategy should not be mixed with others. (that's why i don't like forex trade signal)

I do agree on retain 30EMA just for guidance. I have been using this from Hzs10's 4H engulfing strategy too.

Secondly, in my opinion contributors on this thread or telegram should also use the same strategy to share charts or other discussion.
Only then we can make the best use of it.

Some question to get your opinion:
1) I do understand that both the TDI Angle reading should be positive for buy trade and negative for short trades.
However, does the values needs to be paid attention to eg: buy trade Green: 10 Red 40 means it is the start of the trend ?
2) TDI Separation; the higher the value , the stronger the trend ?

Thank you for sharing this strategy and I hope all of us can profit together.

I also totally agree with you that everyone should share charts for discussion to make the best use of it..

To answer your questions:
1. Values should be strong #s at aroung 50 to 70 so we can avoid indecisive moves before entering... Now once you entered the trade and values goes down, you can still stay on the trade and wait for the trade to develop...
2. I don't check on TDI separation.. I focus more on price action and candlestick patterns too to know how the price is moving...

No need to mark up.. If you took time to read the entire thread, this chart should be very easy to digest why it's a good high probability setup....

I'm also not saying that this is a sure win.. Nobody can have a 100% winning rate...
But just as long you have your risk management well in place, even though you lose, your account should still be safe...
