Hey there, I'm having the same issue, it loads perfectly on some pairs but on others the slope indicator doesn't show any figure, not sure why.

Yes I use ICMarkets too.. on the chf and some other pairs where slope doesn't show up, change the ATR period to 100 instead of 500 it should work.

Hi Al and traders,
I recently read the thread and managed to install it to my MT4. I have a few basic questions if you don't mind.
1) If weekly and daily slopes both showing RANGING (between -0,30 and 0,30) we look to 4H and open positions according to prices' position related to 4H TMA channel. If the price is below the lower band we look for confirmations to buy, and if the price is above the upper band we look for confirmations to sell. Am I correct?
2) Assuming I am correct for question 1. Do we check the slope of 4H to see whether it is below 0,30 to enter a sell or above -0,30 to buy? If yes what do we do in such cases where price is above the upper band but 4H slope is let's say 0,45. Do I need to wait for the slope to decrease below 0,30 even though I got a confirmation for entry ( like a divergence on RSI)?

Interesting thread Alorente. Thanks for posting and the updates. Read the first few pages and the last 15 pages or so. I have actually been looking at the TMA bands for a quite a few months now and use a similar method to yours regarding trading it on the higher time frames. I basically trade 4hr, 6hr, 8hr, 12hr & Daily charts as the lower time frames don't suit my lifestyle. I do use different settings as mentioned in here, but that probably doesn't make too much of a difference. And I am fully aware that the TMA bands will re-adjust as price adjusts....

Hello Rolandojno,

I had the same problem and I managed to solve it by having more history on all time frames. It means, if you don't have history, then indicator can not read TMA values from the dedicated time frame.

Hello everyone, first I'd like to say big thanks to Al for selflessly sharing this system.

Second of all I realise this is an older thread but I am rather new at this still and would appreciate some instructions on how to install the indicators onto mt4 - does anyone have any guidelines or know where I can find such instructions?
