Hi Ladies & Gentlemen - you're all highly appreciated , thank you for your submissions and keep trying... keep at it!

WOW, I'm running out of hours in the day to get to everyone's post. I'm on page 15 of 25. Unfortunately I need to get myself some much needed rest.

I'll try my best to answer the others when I'm able.

Kindly stay on topic please, and if you're confused, go back to my first and second image... they are STEP ONE and TWO.

1) locate the accumulation zone.
2) find the set up within the zone
3) wait for price to pull away from that zone
4) wait for it to come back and execute at the Entry line
5) make sure your breach line is NOT the SL, SL goes above it for sells, below it for buys
6) TP's are your structure lows or highs at the close/open
7) if you are working of higher time frames, do #2 above. Then go down a time frame and find the setup within the setup you found on the higher time frame - keep doing this until your DD is low as possible. then wait for market to pull back and revisit...
8) keep fingers crossed
9) pat self on back if it works out, if it dont, try again - DON'T GIVE UP!

ATB

P.S
Thank you for the MANY, MANY PM's I have received of your kind notes, they are very nice and unexpected and a pleasure to read.. thank you so much

GL And I'll see you tomorrow.

Whats the overall trend direction? Looking at that screen shot alone it looks like its down so the signal needs to be a short not a long.

Also the 2nd candle is much smaller than the 1st.

I'm not saying this wont work but only its not the trade of the OP.

A missed setup and entry this morning.

Trend is up
Signal looks good (although the engulfing candle is a little big)
Price moved away and then came back
Recent high before touch makes for good TP
Potential SL13/TP35 trade (could've found a better entry and therefore SL by drilling down to smaller timeframe)

Juan,

You seem to be trying to catch tops (S&P) and bottoms (EU) rather than going with the trend. From FXCyborg's first post: Know your trend bias - is the trend going up, or down? If it's going down, we're looking for sells and vice versa - IDEALLY!!!

In this case you're looking for a long ... but rising a level to m15 this doesn't look like an up trend - price might rise from here but one of the reasons most traders lose is that we have a human tendency to the counter-trend.

There is also a form requirement on the two down bars before the engulfing that I don't think it met.

Maybe in later days, I'll show some other advance stuft... like "Failure to return", this stuff will completely blow your mind away if this stuff hasn't already I do however have to add one more approach "Imbalance Zones"... I'll throw those into the mix as we move on in the later days. ATB

Also consider to throw some plan into the mix describing how you achieve consistent long term success day trading such method.

Don‘t get me wrong, the method it self seems to be pretty much straight forward and „easy to understand“ but i also think that the member LDFX brought in some valid criticism.

Some high percentage returns for a few days, weeks or even monthes really means nothing. If it’s true that like you said you are involved in trading for almost 3 decades you should know that.

So i would really like to hear more about the 90% secret sauce will make the difference executing your method. Right now I feel hard to believe that just counting one more bar to form the engulfing setup and trading them around supply/demand has never been tried by anyone else. But who knows maybe I am wrong too and this is everything you need.

I hope you won’t dislike my post now too or put me on the ignore list for giving you that kind of feedback.

Regarding to your signature, it says „ not all that retail crap“, but I guess you trade with a retail broker and not directly deal with the intermarket. Is that not somehow contradictory?

kind regards

Ok Thanks.

I will look at this system this weekend but honestly I have 2 trend trading systems in place already. I was looking to incorporate this setup into one of my counter trend systems so I probably won't be able to post much for your students.

Sorry guys and FXCyborg,

Could I ask about the determination of trend as a step before taking a trade since quite a few senior members have commented on that?
First I did read that FXCyborg included a side note that asks for us to determine the trend. But adding the word "IDEALLY" at the end sounds to me as if that is not a "must" rule but an extra step that could help in increasing your success rate.

There are also 2 posts which I would like to quote from FXCyborg. If you could read post #400 and #469, it sounds to me that as long as an accumulation area could be determined, the trend is of secondary attention and that it is not a must to look at higher time frame to determine the main trend.

{quote} @Stillearnin Hi, Guess what buddy.. incorrect... I'm sorry. We're acting off accumulation zones which are generally found at structural highs and lows So I kindly ask please don't make assumptions about losses on something you really are unsure about... Learn this first before making such claims. Would you like me to prove this to you? Or would you prefer to feel you know more about this than I do? ATB

Please forgive me if I interpreted FXCyborg wrongly as my English is not my first language. It is just that I would like a confirmation on my understanding. And once again thank you very much for the support given by FXCyborg and comments from other members.

Not 100% sure but I do see opposing candles immediately to the left of the signal and a mess further to the left. I could be wrong so please feel free to post examples of true accumulation we should be looking for.
