Hello trading gurus. Have been super busy and haven't posted in awhile.

I Hope all are trading with a professionally-minded risk management system in place. And speaking of risk, I rarely hold any trades over the weekend, but I got in short @1472 after waiting for the NFP gyrations to play out. I'm hoping this will be my only trade next week. Of course, if 115 gives way then it's 100% cash position and back to the drawing board. 2019, the year of simplicity for me. WAY less trades, WAY less screen time.

End of Week Analysis

So... as anticipated, no pass through has been given to bulls by the end of this week. Below are my quick thoughts for next week:

  1. Highest weekly candle close is still 1.1465 and we must keep watching it until candles drop back below the red 8 EMA line on chart.
  2. The "duh" type of resistance sits at 1.15035 and we also must watch if/when candle wicks retest this level.
  3. Still nothing for sure but bulls will probably keep trying to break 1.15035 or at least to close nicely above 1.1465 level. (A wish-washy close above doesn't count. They need a clear close above!)
  4. Finally, just to give you a rough support level for coming week: I would say 1.1375 is probably the area to watch in case price gets there.

I’m undecided about entering reentering short again. 1.1430 looks like possible support and with bad Euro data I think this might go higher. I’m going to look to go long if price stays above 1.1430 aiming for 1.1620

Looks like the bull move is getting weak. There may be more pullbacks, but looks like it is turning and going bearish. Either way will wait for Monday to see what is happening. If I see any levels bouncing on hourly chart, i will buy/sell and close the profit manually. Will add stop losses as always. Trade safe and have a good weekend.

A little fall down for about 40 pips to 1,1400 (probably on monday) then move up till the end of the week - 1,15-1,16.

Guys - im going to give you a very simple strategy that has given me a 100% win rate over the last 2 months on this pair. Extremely simple...

price below 1.1340 - buy.
price above 1.1440 - sell.
SL = 150 pips.

All trades closed in profit within 8 days.

Size your positions accordingly (small) so that you can tolerate a DD of 150pips per position.
TP - where ever PA tells you to or around about 50 pips works for me

thats it... 100% win rate in this ranging market.

Goes against traditional methodology where your RRR is less than 1 - but it works provided we remain in this range. I expect the range to break once the yield differential between EUR and USD narrows - which could be another couple months away yet, we will see. until then - its free money

The range band might have to be moved up a little now that the Fed is considered to be more dovish, perhaps around 1375buy-1475sell now, use as a guide only...

That would be neat to see results of people on here. I’d bet that less than 30% of the
people on here are profitable. Some people use stops that are ridiculously too small like 8 pips or something and many sell the bottom and buy the top. A few claim to have great profit but almost never post a trade. Also see people talking about M1 and M5 time frames having double bottoms lol. Some of these people have been on here for years and should know better by now
