DislikedHi Phil, I understand and greatly appreciated. When I saw fti thread., I was surprised to see some similar methodology. However, fti has more experience and totally different level of skill. I read his thread and some In depth knowledge is hard to digest. When I found his thread, he was no longer participating. The only difference I had was mine was on a longer period. Fti mention that it is better To hold short and swift. I could not understand as it work fine when I was doing it long term. Correct me if I am wrong. The longer the war the harder...Ignored
Hi jinsen
So the only goal in trading should be to make money, in AOW your account is the 'state', in trading during long battles foraging on the enemy is key to sustaining the fight without heavily damaging the 'state' or having to draw on more resources, until you can bring the whole trade to a conclusion (you or the market wins), my money management is key in this area, have a look at posts 501 on (page 26), at least read that page and you may get an idea of what I do during my long battles.
Short and swift battles are the ideal way to trade fti’s MO, but sometimes we create difficult situation for ourselves and having a number of well practiced options at our disposal allows for greater flexibility in what we do, especially in today's market were we get far more unexpected news fired at us and are also against the trading machines/algo's.
Regards
Phil.
