Considering the extreme volatility of GBP and FOMC + NFP on the horizon, I prefer to capitalize on my EG long and GU short trades.

good that worked out for you. after gain profit you know it came the most hard part ,and that is too KEEP IT for me AUDUSD is not one of the pairs i love ,only when i am low in available margin maybe. otherwise i focus on the nasty ones

Hey Traders!

I’m new here but probably not in trading. I’ve been demoing for 5 months now and this thread caught my eyes. It looks more promising as traders here are updated on both news and high probability reversal zones (thanks to Davit’s system).

Looking at what happened this week, it seems Davits calls went as anticipated. And here comes my humble request for explanation so that can also trade as such in future:

Lets look at this Week Calender:


MONDAY:
-ECB President Draghi Speaks (EUR)
-BOE Gov Carney Speaks (UK)


TUESDAY
-CB Consumer Confidence (USD) (Previous 126.6 expected 125.0, hence perceived negative)


WEDNESDAY

-CPI q/q (AUD) (Previous 0.4% expected 0.4%, hence perceived negative)

-Trimmed Mean CPI q/q (AUD) (Previous 0.4% expected 0.4%, hence perceived negative)


THURSDAY
-GDP m/m (CAD) (Previous 0.3% expected -0.1%, hence perceived negative)


FRIDAY (US NEWS)
-NFP (Previous 312 expected 165%, hence perceived negative



Davits Analysis:

Why did you go short GC despite CAD sentiments being negative? And did u enter immediately after Carney speech?) GBPCAD at the time was at R38 (Personally couldn’t take the trade because I was waiting for price to reach R61 area. Besides, from your past posts, you said we only take trades at R/S 38 on ranging market only.

>>AUDJPY (Paired AUD (wed news) JPY (no high impact news this week)
You predicted AUD will be weak maybe until wed before CPI, only then we should look to buy AUD against JPY. What made you think AUD would strengthen despite sentiments being neutral? And why did you pair specifically with JPY and not NZD or USD (US data have been negative)

Later today, you said our main focus should be EURCAD.


CAD news is tomorrow and sentiments are negative. Why couldn’t u go long on EC and price was at R38? Or wait price to hit R61? or consider pairing CAD with NZDCAD or USDCAD? (usdcad would have been great considering US news has been negative)

what I'm after is what he did this week despite sentiments being negative. And why, for instance, he chose jpy over other pairs to pair it with AUD. I would rather ask a stupid question than remain silent with my stupidity. I know there are a lot of people here yearning for the same answer but fear to ask coz of people like you!


I know this is advanced trading. So please stop throwing rocks if you do not have anything to share
