Whilst I don't really feel much sorrow for myself, I admit I have made a public campaign for donations - though it is not much better than a prank really!
Who in their right mind would donate for the cause? And as someone calculated earlier, at the current rate of donations it would take me 4300 years! lol

I will gamble my way to trillions some day!
Losing $14 million means I gotta milk this opportunity for all it's worth! Whether that be creating an impotent campaign, crying on forums, or advertising my folly - the good times will roll on! I crack myself up sometimes...

a quick story....
a few years ago when my daughter was approx 9.
we were walking down the high street and she found a £5 note.... we then walked past a guy begging and we carried on walking.
We came to a busker playing a violin, my daughter gave him the £5.
i said to her why didn't you give the £5 to the beggar, she replied, he had a can of beer and was smoking a cheat, the violinist was actually doing a service.

i commend anyone who can make money, (legally) this world thrives on entrepreneurs ... whether business, trading, gambling.
But i dislike the guys asking for handouts when they are not rock bottom.

I pay cheap rent of $300 per month - I need my $500k to gamble and make trilions.
Last year I only started with $50k in September - if it weren't for the Flash Crash I "know" I would be $15m richer today and still earning $100k+ per day plus $100k+ per month in rebates.
My point is: it is far easier to make 100% gain on $500k to reach $1 million, than it is to make 1000% gain on $50k. Just hope I don't lose this also (I don't plan to, but you never know... omg omg...) lol
Hey, worst-case scenario: I'm 35 and can keep working for another 20 years... so what? Such is the purpose of my life!

I will upgrade to a better rental in future. Certainly I will buy when I have expendable capital to throw away on luxury items and park in property doing nothing for me.

Yes, there is something VERY WRONG with a privileged first world citizen with money in the bank and two jobs asking for hand-outs (me)!
We have a welfare system in Australia that taxpayers pay for, where the destitute can still survive.
I dislike guys asking for handouts even when they are at rock bottom: I despise the beggars in town as they could still do something if they only applied themselves (does that make me a hypocrite with my campaign??) PMSL!!!

Perhaps I should make it clear in my campaign that it is just a big joke... but some cynics will still call me "lying" and "scammer"! PMSL!!

Though really the author should get his facts correct before posting online also:
- The reasons for my luck were the Short on CHFSGD (September 2018) and the Short on EURTRY (October 2018);
- Those quotes were from 2018. I lost my money on 3 January 2019 with the Yen Flash Crash;
- The motivational posts were already present on my MQL5 profile before I lost my money;
- No relative has donated to my campaign thus far;
- He failed to mention I escaped with $500k (3.8%) rather than owing money to my broker (I had some accounts go into negative by $600k+).

Strange how the article author did little investigation prior to posting, to get his facts straight - he never contacted me.
Well, he has to make it sound "newsworthy", so I guess a white lie can't hurt - can it?
At least he didn't make redoktober's spectacular blunder and assume I had problems with ASIC.
And at least he got one of my best moments!

Take it however you will, for example:
- From a mathematical perspective, the campaign is unfeasable (4300 years to accumulate $14 million);
- From a cynic's perspective, the campaign is a scam;
- From a shrewd's perspective, the campaign is illogical and a farce;
- From a benefactor's perspective, the campaign is an opportunity for charity;
- From a psychologist's perspective, the campaign is a sign of mental instability;
etc ...

As much as it may look it, I am not here trying to hard-sell my plight.
I really have nothing better to do with my time on the weekend when the markets are closed and I am not working.

the fellow forgot that every broker got a gofundme page, it is called "DEMO ACCOUNT". you can load it with millions of Aussie dollars. No need to explain your story. get the demo $$ and enjoy trading it.
