Had to go do stuff for a bit there, so sorry for the delay in posting - but here's The Monster play from earlier.

I certainly got the positive move I was expecting.

In at around the 50% retrace of the first long candle out of the Demand Zone (black dotted line shows exactly where) and out 47 pips later (upper black dotted line).

DAX S+D play. Long. +47

Cable.....08-15 min bar break.
The Low Failed at +4. the High Broke for +20 maybe more.

The 00-00 4 hour bar low broke +40. the 04-00 4 bar +20.
It does all link.

edit... the Low of the 04-00 4 hour bar was +12 NOT +20 at time of writing.....
time now 10-55. it might still do it lol

What were we saying last week? It's going to be getting to where savings will be banned, you will only be allowed to retain an allowance each month and you have to spend it (to stimulate the economy) by the end of each month or you lose it.

UJ might have a play above 109.75 for the highs at 110. I have been watching the pair lately, it is slowly grinding its way and putting a sl and tp should be enough. It does not need the constant nursing of cable or even wilder pairs.

I think you're pretty safe with that. It looks to me like a sluggish day overall today but then if this clears and breaks long, there is still a little room to the upside, to around 110.35 initially - and then I'd wait to see how strong that holds.

If it busts that, then the remaining upside is huge, pausing for a breather around 111.18 before continuing on to 112.43.

Interestingly, we are above the 50-Fib Level (H4) if we take the low as the extreme of the idiot-spike but below it if we were to use the more ''sensible'' line-in-the-sand.

lol, it's always the 50, god knows why ...

Changed my mind to short after s/o from long after what I thought was new demand. Slowly going, but I think eventually 1.2980 could be doable. Also an intraday gap from yesterday in that region because price just gapped up. Still unsure if these intraday gaps are of any relevance because price can easily travel hundreds of pips without caring about them.

Lol. Just curious while we're gassing. How much attention would you give to that huge spike wick on H4 there? For me, I'd be tempted to make note of it but then pretty much ignore it and use the level where in ''normal'' circumstances, the level should have been.

Good question. I'd take note of intraday sellers there, but being choppy like it is on UJ not putting too much value to it. As long as it stay above 109.70, it normally might still test 110.
