I missed it too. I am currently still watching USDCAD, it already got 3 times near the R100.

GBPAUD and GBPCAD are also quite interesting, both testing the R61.

Quick update

I took 2 trades yesterday:

1 - USDCAD. Looked really sweet, I've anticipated the cross and entered the trade without cross confirmation. Cross did not happened trade went against me and I've lost -4.95% of my account

2 - NZDUSD. Entered according to the rules. Was ranging and NZD rallied after the news. I was bit lucky on this trade and before I was not sure how it will unfold I exited it with the profit of 6.35% of my account.

So overall +1.4% for the day. Not bad, but the lesson was learned today and will definitely not enter the trade before the cross unless the PA move is huge.

Please note I play on very small live account and very aggressively (I risk 5% each trade)

Please don't do it at home :-)

Green pips people.

Ps. Note to myself - work on exit strategy.

I was bit to late for USDCAD but I entered GBPAUD. GBP is never stable around this time but I took a risk. I was hesitating a bit because of the news at 9:30 (MPC member speaks) but on the end decided to take it.

Currently watching NZDCHF and AUDNZD, both near a 78 level

Unfortunatly i was asleep while USDCAD formed a setup.

EURCHF is also interesting, seems like it's forming a double top. It's around 12 pips away from R61. ZigZag is at first test of R61...

Let's hope that GBPAUD is also forming a double top, that could be a nice setup as well

And my SL was hit on GBPAUD

I think I will approach this currency with more caution next time.

It looks like I missed a good trade on UC last night! Good to see that some of you caught it.

With so much volatility around GBP I am staying away from all GBP pairs for now, its just not worth the risk. A trade might be valid technically but all it takes is some fundamental news to turn a trade upside down like we seen on GA.

So no trading CHF, NZD and GBP pairs for me.

Trade carefully guys!

Hello guys and sorry to ask this newbie question but i can't seem to able to add any of the indicators or the Ea into my mt4. I tried opening the show package content and inserting into the expert and the indicator side but its doesn't work. I'm also on a mac. Any help would be appreciated.

I think I understand your aproach more and more. I suffer from trade hunger I need to apply strategy less is more :-) i will no longer trade chf and nzd and stary gbp after march this year

I use Mac, running MT4 on Mac is slightly different and installation of indicators and EA's is also different but I'll show you.

Firstly I suggest you download the MT4 program from your broker then install the downloaded .dmg file into your Mac. To install EA's and indicators on Mac:

1. For EA's copy the indicator .ex4 files. Make sure your MT4 is closed.
2. Click on Applications and scroll down to "open in finder”
3. Go to your MT4 App, right click and click "show package contents"
4. Click on "drive_c" > program files > MT4 > MQL4 > Indicators.
5. Copy the indicator .ex4 files and paste in indicators folder.
6. For EA's do the same but copy and paste the EA .ex4 file into the Expert Advisor folder.
7. Now open MT4 and you will find the indicators under the Navigator tab under Indicators an the EA's in the Expert Advisor folder.

Many traders focus on quantity rather than quality, you can make more money on fewer quality trades.

I understand that most traders always want to be in the market trading as many set ups as they can find, but most often this leads to more losses. By only looking for high quality set ups we reduce the quantity of trades which actually leads to better results overall.

I'm a full time trader and one of the biggest things I had to learn was having patience waiting for a valid quality set up, before that I used to scan all the charts continuously searching for something to trade and many times due to impatience and greed I lost more than I made. Now days its different, in the morning I scan for set ups and wait for confirmation, kind of like waiting for the market to come to me. If there's nothing valid I don't trade.

Not trading CHF & NZD pairs is a personal choice, I just don't like them from my own experience so for me its better to stay away, but for many other traders they have no problems trading those pairs.
