All you have to do is wait for a valid signal from Tuesday to Friday, because usually the UJ or GU pair will give 1 very valid signal in a week that can produce 60 pips.

Actually, it doesn't "mean" anything at all, unless of course you have a crystal ball, or sufficient statistical data with 100% certainty, to know where price is going to move to next.

Hi Ozy: For other people this is not a rebuke to the Gorilla. Follow the rules set out in the thread. This post is simply to help out Ozy and maybe others. I simply started using a 15M chart instead of 1H. To see the 1H ma's I added a 60 and 120 ema. I also added a 14 and 16 ema to emphasis the repitition of one time frame to the other. Just pull up a 15M chart and add 4,15,30,60,120,14,and 16 ema's. Play with the colors so they are easy to see. Scroll through some charts to see how the ma's dance with each other. If you want to stay pure Gorilla simply watch the longer ones.

Next I have added a couple of other indicators, NON GORILLA, just ignore them if you do not like them. They are easy to find using FF search or Google, I will not post the files here. The first is McGinley Dynamic, a variation of a moving average. I set it to 4 periods. The second one is HalfTrend. All I can say is put it on a chart and see what you think. I do not use the the small vertical bars since they are visually annoying. However, I do find the signal arrows useful. Please do your own research concerning these indicators.

So, that is about it. Build a chart with these things and then make your own decisions concerning using them. How you trade and what tools you use are totally up to you. A large part of trading is taking full responsibility for your decisions.

Ozy: I hope you find some of this useful. I may start a journal thread so as not to attract the wrath of purists.

Hi again: The following chart is a visual reference for Ozy. IT IS NOT GORILLA METHOD. This thread inspired me to look for a method that suited my own life style and approach to trading. The result of this search has brought me to the attached chart. Each person must find their own way. "If I knew the way, I would take you home." Good luck to all in finding their own way. Dave.

You need to get your own thread on FF just as Cm7 did he is an example for millions,others will say the same...also traders will ask you where you get this,where you get that on your chart,waste time here on GORILLA thread asking about a system unknown to all....just some advice man...thanks very much. ......inspiration is nice from Gorilla,he will inspire the world.... :-)

Hi, just joined, read (nearly) all, got it. Two questions please, referring to time as I am in a different part of the world.
Speaking (post 314) you said: The Gorilla method can be used starting at 07.00 Tuesday morning to 24.00 midnight Friday. What time is that, your local time or your server time (as shown in MT) - and what UTC+x is it, so I can convert it to my time?
What is the reference time expressed as UTC+x for the pivot (my pivots show different values for some bars, where yours is already painting the new one, mine is still the old one). I could just go and leave it as is but that's not the idea of rules (to be broken right in the beginning).
