Hi EZ,

here are my week three results for v 1.0 - v 1.1a false - v 1.1a true Week3

I'll crank up v1.3 as well. I've found version 1.1 false to be the best performer. Although it is on
a different Broker to the other two.

Could we have an indication on page 1 of all the versions you want tested and choices
of settings within the EA . I can test 4 at the moment, after that I run out of processing grunt.

EZ, does the new version need to be reset daily as well? I keep forgetting to do that.
Hi everybody, EZ

For this week l have tested only (1X) 1.0 and (2x) 1.2
Result are positive 113 Pips (.1*1130) for 1.0
Result are negative 89 and 148Pips on both 1.2 with different brokers...Will continue testing this week...
Just wondering why results are so differents from broker to another...and if we can rely on results based on demo feed...

EZ if you absolutely want to see my .txt file let me know...will post it to you...

Not sure why this didn't buy... sorry, from a few days ago

also here were the results this week. the EU were not Gorilla transactions... And the Cancelled Sell Limit was something I did - not EA...

It could be different price feeds on the 2 different brokers -- so pivots are calculated differently. I know about the SL. That should be fixed in the next version release ... but I want to test v1.2 and 1.3 more before the next version.

I think 1.2 and 1.3 should be tested, but (1) with default settings, and (2) set Sl trailing activation at 10 rather than 5 pips (5 is the default).

Only if it gets in and exits a trade.

I will change s/l to 10pips for next week for 1.3

Setting up an EA on MT4 is new to me, I have only down loaded 1.3, if I right click a chart, then open expert advisers, then open properties, there is the down load.

Also its in Experts via File/open data folder/ MQL4

Check first post for installation.
"...To run this EA, put the nonlagdot file in the indicators folder and compile, put the currencySignals file in the include folder (do not need to compile), and the Gorilla_EA_v1.0 in experts folder and compile..."
Please forgive the basic newbie verification... The TS activating option is the big arrow and not below -( set Sl trailing activation at 10 rather than 5 pips (5 is the default).) correct?

i have tried to start trades with a trend, now i prefer to follow the trend

Here's my results for the past 2 weeks (missed last week).
Couldn't get to the charts before the Friday close so the statements include trades that are still open.

As far as settings, I think I screwed something up.
All EA version settings have been at default, except for:

1.0..... use SL TP: False

1.1 True and 1.1 False:
- use SL TP: True
- SL 30
- TP 90
***I think I have the 1.0 and the 1.1 versions settings reversed***


1.2 and 1.3..... use SL TP: False
pips to trail SL: 5

It looks like you want us to change the pipsToTrailSL to 10, right?

And I have not changed the Trail SL: 0 to deactivate - 0 setting as mentioned by Dogalot's post above in ANY of the versions.

Maybe a definitive word on versions and settings to test is warranted.

Here's the additional information for EA 1.3
EZ, can you update first post with rules, etc. What you need us to do. Or can we go crazy with the settings (please not this).

Since 1.3 is based on 1.1's logic, do we have to test both pivot false/true like on 1.1?
Can't get the nonlagdot indy to load.
