Hi EZ,
I didn't get to my charts in time before the markets closed for the weekend so I have a boatload of open trades in the three EAs.
I am planning to wait until the markets open again, then close all the trades and submit my Detailed Statement for the three.
Unless you would prefer them now? There are a lot of open trades though, might skew the results.

i have tried to start trades with a trend, now i prefer to follow the trend
Results for this week. I had some computer issues on Thu where my computer was off for a few hours, and so EA was not managing trades.

How can I find out what happened here... Shows a good entry and nice follow through but ended up a small loss... I had the default setting -- 30 pip SL -- should be higher? It didn't even get started before it ended...

Also - do the EA's push the SL/TP numbers on to the trade server? I've been having some connectivity issues on the weekend(s) and concerned they might carryover during the week... Just concerned when an EA opens a trade and the connection goes down - if all is well?

Yep, better to wait till they close. You can also post the end of next week for 2 weeks of data.

Either SL was hit (you should probably disable in the future and not use SL/TP as the EA logic would exit), or it miscalculated the R2/S2 and exited. Not sure ... but the EA should have stayed long and that would have been a nice trade rather than a loss. If it happens again, please post screenshot again.

Yes, it should post SL and TP on server. There is an issue (sometimes) if you put SL = 30, it usually correctly puts the SL where it should be ... but then other times put it at the price = 30. Depending on what pair you are trading and if long or short, this would result in an error.

For now (till I can fix the SL error), I would just put it = false. As long as the EA is running, it would exit on the logic (4EMA x 15EMA, price hits 30 EMA, or a couple of other criteria documented in the EA at top). I think adding a trailing SL would be beneficial so will work on that next.

So if I take the SL.TP off that is ok - make them "0"? Looking at the numbers - it got me out at .00033 -- so, 30 plus slippage... I personally like a trailing stop.

Yep, I would set it = 0. I am going to add a trailing SL with the Non Lag Dot (NLD) indicator on either 15 or 30 min chart. This is a great trailing stop. The EA will look at the prev. bar's NLD to not have refresh issues. I'll change it and post on this thread soon.

Strange it was already in zip format...
Did that happened to others downloaders too?
Then l will post 3 separate files
Seems HTML format is not supported to upload...Then have renamed .txt...Once downloaded...rename it whatever you prefer...
As you will see version1.0 is the only one with positive results...Others 2 are always negative since the begining...Perhaps the ''no reset'' factor...
So what are the sumary for others testers then

Thanks for the testing! I've noticed that for some people v1.0 is better, and for some v1.1 is better. Some users commented that a trailing SL would benefit, and I also have noticed this as well. I modified the EA's to add a trailing SL feature, and posted on the first page:

Gorilla v1.2 - v1.0a logic was modified and added a trailing SL. When pipsToTrailSL (default setting = 5) is exceeded, EA will trail SL and exit on 15 min NLD change.
Gorilla v1.3 - v1.1a logic was modified and added a trailing SL. When pipsToTrailSL (default setting = 5) is exceeded, EA will trail SL and exit on 15 min NLD change.

I believe this will greatly increase profits once we are in a trade and in profit.

For this week, please test v1.2 (if your v1.0 has been making profits) and test v1.3 if your v1.1 has been making profits. Also free free to test both. :-)

Just to clarify, pipsToTrailSL left at 5 pips. Do we need to change the value of trailSL from default 0?

No, but just make sure use_sl_and_tp = false.
