Sometimes it's better not to move sl to BE, give your position some room to breath
sometimes the price touch your BE price before going to your limit price/S3
SL 75 pips its more than enough room to breath

As outlined, missed that exact entry by 3 pips.
If that is too great a movement and I should no longer have taken the trade, that would be good to know.

{quote} Hi your entrys and exits look ok. They were trades that just didn't take off and the gbp/jpy if you took the position this morning it produced around 50 pips if you took it this afternoon the market was just thin on sellers. The good trades will come that is a guarantee just be patient and calm and the rest will fall into place. I personally like to look at most correlating pairs to get an idea of how strong a particular currency could be to give me extra confidence in my positions.

if your target 150 pips
different entry price by 3 pips is nothing, you still can get 147 profits if your limit target is the same price with CM7
its really hard to get the same entry price with everyone
and also different broker have a few pips different price, different spread

If I am not mistaken I have given the choice to close the position at +80 (for newbies) or +2 and you choose the latter.

In this trade (a Dragon trade) the SL was moved to +2 when the trade was over 80 pips in profit....plenty of room to breathe

your previous SL was above the ranging area, its harder to touch compare when it move 80 pips to support area and back again 80 pips to inside ranging area (easy to touch)

That makes good sense but I follow the instructions given concerning this type of trade. When the method for these trades is revealed, I can make my own judgements on this sort of thing. With the +80 we were giventhe instruction to move SL to +2, so I did.

nothing is wrong with your entry
its just a probability game
you tried trend strategy in the choppy session
thats all, just keep trying
the next time you enter, maybe its become a trending session
thats why money management is important here
sl 2% tp 4-6%
as long as in the end you make profit, you win

GC + 80 , .... please shift your SL to +2 ... or if you like you may close it now ( I'm sure the newbies fingers are already on the mouse)
Ignored
Yes, we were given the choice to close at +80 but the wording of your post very much made it sound like there was no need to
