Okay, guys and gals,

Got my copy of "The Hour Between Dog and Wolf" and ready to start reading.

Another question. When a trader gets +5 in on direction, does it make sense to double the expectation in the opposite direction, i.e., wait for the price to break the opposite wait and get +10? Or is it a false end?

i dont use time on my chart
its a 8 pips move filter (a mixed of Kagi and Renko homemade on excel)
edit : TIME as no impact for me .... pure price action

good question... before i contradict myself. I trade.
If you have a breakout and it is good ,STAY WITH WHAT YOU HAVE.
No need to trade off the other end.
LIKE I ALWAYS SAY,,, THE LESS YOU TRADE THE LESS RISK TO LOSE. as in, if you do not trade you do not lose,

Fixing a bad trade is different.

Cable,
the 08-00 15 minute bar break.
the high broke for +5 and a few more i believe.
I left gf in a garden hacking down bamboo lol. she is quite happy.

If my calculations are correct, +20 though I stuck to the rules and got the daily 5 :-)

Try Range Bars - they are also not time based. You might use a 5 pip setting for forex and a 10 pip for Dax albeit Dax might be rather fast hence my use of one minute time charts. i just took a look... i have it at approx 18 pips. near enough

If you don't like pin bars then it's of no use. Sometimes you can miss these things.
