Good morning all.

A tad zombied this morning as I was up till around 05:30 watching Clemson obliterate Alabama in the College Football Championship Final. Trading after 80 mins sleep is never to be recommended.

As such, I won't be hanging around for long.

Soooooooo...The DAX continues to meander around in that range from yesterday and as such, the levels still hold true.

If...if...we get a drop to around 10731, which would give a double-up trigger of the 23.6 and the ma, then I would be looking at a bounce entry long.

We shall see.

i will try and explain again the adr but will have difficulty as i cannot post a chart.

example.. we have an adr 0f 100. ( calculated from previous 5 days ranges) and the pair opens at 00-00 at 500.
So at 00-00 the adr high is 500 + 100 = 600 , HIGH IS 600.
adr low at 00-00 is 500 - 100 = 400. LOW is 400.
1 hour later our pair has moved to 550. SO 550 - 100 =450, this is now the new adr LOW. 450 IS NEW LOW.
The High is still calculated from the lowest point which is still 500 ... so 500 + 100 = 600. the High IS STILL THE SAME. HIGH is still 600.

Cable.... at 07-58 my High was 12797 (mid price based) .
so subtract 141 from 12797 =12656 ..............12656 in NOW THE ADR LOW. THE HIGH IS STILL THE SAME 12894. EASY LOL

Maybe not everything, but you can base a lot of things on it for sure ... Fibonacci is fascinating for example ... maths is interesting, but have a serious trauma due to a merciless teacher I had through all classes until I had finished A-levels ... boy, she brought my average in grades down every year ... I think nowadays parents would just sue her to achieve better results LOL ...

Math is cool!

I think I got the main idea of how ADR is calculated and was wondering what causes changes. Hopefully, I got it too. Keep posting and I'll check your postings against my numbers. Numbers I like!

at t 08-07 the Low was 12746. so add adr range 141 to 12746 = ( 12746 + 141= 12887) 12887 IS THE NEW ADR HIGH

Didn't drop quite as far as I was looking at but as time had moved on, the ma had lifted and adjusted that trigger level, so happy to go in where I did, at 10752. +10.2 in the bag, with price at 10781 as I write this.

Good job hanging on to it for longer than I was prepared to, Pips. I am so tired that once it hesitated at all, I closed up shop, as I wasn't willing to hang around to nurse it to a re-entry and / or repair any damage that may have come about if it had reversed. My eyes were already half-shut, lol.
