Hi Hickson
I did try and buy cable after it made Billytt's adr of 77.
This trade struggled and as Billytt pointed out it had not reached the second level, I closed the buy for 1 point, waited until the us market opened to see if it was going to pull back to the Daily pivot.
Their didn't seem any interest of any buying so I sold.
the only support that I could see at the time was on the daily chart at 1.2500 ish in the middle of August.

Good thing it was just 300 pounds and not 300 k. Learn from it and be happy it was not so expensive.

I see, good idea to just change one's mind if the market proves you wrong. It does not hurt to admit a mistake and then correct it, the opposite does.

yes that is what I thought with the ESMA rules, and I have had trades closed when they have exceeded the 50% level, but it has always left me with enough in my account to carry on trading.
This time it has taken the full 100% in a flash lol.
I'm just wondering if I had more in the account would it have taken this as well ?

Sometimes i i make out trading is too easy but it isnt.

We enter a trade looking for a level (easy part) but quite often it stals /consolidates and we think it is going to retrace and go against us. That is the hard part.

i honestly do not know. these esma rules are supposedly meant to help retailers .
But i honestly think it is a case of do gooders trying to help but without proper knowledge of the real world.

Now you figured out what day it is ADP Non-Farm Employment Change at 13.15 worth watching. Surprised its not red - can be a good indication of where NFP will go.
