This would be very useful because I can see how much a pair has traveled during the day,

1. 1st rule we look for engulfing candle or outside bar if we are bullish, previous candle should be bearish, then we plot the fib tool on the 4h engulfing candle itself once it closes.

How strict are you that the previous candle should be bearish (if the engulfing candle is bullish) and vice-aversa ?

Thanks for pointing me to the thread. Just one observation at the moment - the 30MA should be used on the H4 chart, as this represents the weekly trend (given that there are 30 H4 candles in the trading week). On the daily chart we would be looking for the monthly trend, and given there are on average 21 trading days in the month, it would be the 21MA.

Since I will be away for a while and will be focusing on wife and our new baby in a few weeks, I decided to just analyze on weekly chart for swing trades only coz I can't check most of the time..

Im sorry I know I only mentioned the timeframe that we can trade are 4H and Daily timeframe.. But hey, I just figured out, this can also work on another higher timeframe which is WEEKLY..

These are the only trades I have now since I dont have much time for now and since it is somehow a holiday week. No need to focus much for now...

Hello ranilo, it is good to see you here, I have been following your posts in Hzs10's forum. Your ability to combine three strategies and form one hybrid system looks promising. Perhaps you could create a dedicated section to explain the rules for Entry, TP, and SL. I know that you covered these rules in 3rd Post, but I think it would be better if a general rule is written for Entry, TP, and SL then followed by live examples. Definitely subscribed to your new strategy!

General rule for entry is look for engulfing/outside bar first either on 4H or Daily.
TP depends on fibo and also on pivot zone, plot the fibo tool, target the nearest of the two. If pivot zone is closer, target that. If Fibo, target that instead.
SL depends also on Fibo and Pivot zone, but this time SL should be the FARTHEST.

Even though it's above 30EMA. Even if you check my post on the 4H mobile thread before, even the thread Starter, HZs10 agreed with me that we can also trade her strategy with counter trend already.. THAT IS WHY I SAID PRICE ACTION STILL SHOULD BE CONSIDERED...

Here's a proof that it worked out on shorting GOLD...

Although it did not hit my target, we have to be flexible enough to adjust and manage our trades and carefully take some profits along the way coz 'WE HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT WE CAN'T ALWAYS BE RIGHT".

Still decent profits.. Even though I exited Gold short early...

I don't know but I find using 30 SMA and 30 EMA both okay in 4H, Daily, Weekly timeframes.. Both are working fine coz I combine it with other factors/confluences before taking a trade so there's a higher odds of winning...
