Yes those stats were YM only.
I'm playing with the 6E on Demo right now but that's the only other futures contract I'm interested in.
I can't trade the NQ. Seems like it's a different animal.

I trade FX on the H1/H4 time-frames though.
My edge is pretty small on FX.

For the last 3 months my FX stats are
56% w/l
1.10 to 1 ratio

I did some back testing on the NQ for a small time period, i just felt that the swings were much larger compared to the YM - doubt i researched it enough to understand it. I've just been backtesting and understanding the YM over the last 6 months(it's been a lot of hard work but the results indicate a decent positive expectancy), i should start demo in Feb and will begin posting my charts and thoughts.

Thanks for sharing your FX results, always good to know what markets others trade as well.

Here is my attempt at the Structure of Dow longer term (not that my account is able to trade on this time frame but my long term savings is in this market). The Chart is based on the continuous contract. I know I am behind am behind on the course but thought I would share what the market looks like on the daily chart.
NOTE that there no recent structure in the current price area.
EXPECTATION is for a LH (which may be forming, too early to call) and then a NSL.

QUESTION: Is the fib drawn correctly, from last NSL to previous NSL so that the retrace came be quantified?

I would appreciate any feedback by the experienced of this thread.

Attached are two (2) charts of the Canadian dollar.
Even though the C$ made a NSH recently and tested, the most important thing I see on this chart is the supply and resistance zones back to 23 December.
(I boxed these zones this morning before the most recent test to the upper zone.)
I am continuing to work my way through the appropriate posts to learn from Mr. Pip and other traders on this thread.

With respect to your question of the fib: No, you should not draw it from previous NSL to newest NSL.

Look at my posted chart. We got a NSH, then HL then NSH. So I place my fib on my ref. swing (main swing) from the HL to the previous NSH. So I am looking for a long entry in order to trade my expectation of a new NSH, that we finally got and were I took profit.

There are a lot of videos from Mr. Pip covering all kind of subject-matters (including yours). Maybe someone could provide a shortcut to these videos.

To be honest, I do not really get what you want to highlight with your charts. I see supply and demand zones, ok and now what do you do in terms of building a case for a trade?

Hope everyone had a Happy New Year, Afternoon trade I took , Counter trend trade as market had made a triple top, I Have an expectation of a deep retrace ( who knows if the market cares LOL )Just took 50% off and moved to BE because market is approaching structure and 38% fib.
