The ROI for exotics is unbeatable for those that hack it. To be honest, I'm seeing that usdMXN or usdZAR in reality are a bit less volatile than the majors at the moment.

2019 -
My trade setup configure for usdMXN is complete but for tweaking after live actions. I still use the hourly to view the daily highs and lows and look for my solid entry points. While crawling the charts I eye-balled the reality that Most of the major moves in price occur around 12:00pm UCT, sometimes moving an hour before but mostly moving at noon or delayed an hour and occasionally delayed for several hours. The next common hour is 8am cst. I have not verified, but a quick glance reveals these are common news release hours.

So my trade time will be 12pm -5pm (6am cst - 11am cst) with an eye on news releases. I'm watching for high prob setup via H1 swinging the daily high or low following a stochastic diversion confirmation. It's following the daily trend to add multiple legs throughout its duration. Each trade set to breakeven or just above. I will let the market decide. My only job is to show up for work (keh) and high prob entry on the right side of the market.

Eventually I will apply my trade setup to usdZAR. but I'm waiting in the catalyst for that bad boy with the changes to their constitution and hope we all catch some really good moves.

Just for Fun: I'm looking into altering my base setup for lower time frames on usdMXN for high leverage endorphine-enducing trades. ha

The USD rally is not over yet... continuation into 2019 - reaching min. 107 before the rally is over, This will have deflationary consequences across various markets

well thought out now that is what i mean about a real trader understanding a pair and how it works every day around 11am my time until 1.30 movement happens most days i normally get sells around this time on exotics with the stoch well done 2dollardog you are on your way

Thank you dweb. This is extremely useful. It reminds me that I have not yet decided whether I will take a break when the H4 reveals a retracement or whether to go ahead and swing the H4. I think that'll depend on my mind at the time. Trading is curious stuff sometimes.

USD – ADP Non-Farm Employment Change – The Automatic Data Processing, Inc. will be releasing the ADP Non-Farm Employment Change at 13:15 (GMT). It’s expected to rise from 180k vs. 179k in the previous month.
The ADP figure is mostly correlated with the Non-farm payroll and it’s often called advance NFP. The positive forecast is likely to underpin the buck until the release of the news. Whereas, the actual ADP will give us clues about labor market figures due on this Friday.

USD – ISM Manufacturing PMI
At 14:00 (GMT), the Institute for Supply Management is expected to release the manufacturing purchasing managers index. The forecast of 58.2 represents robust growth but is weaker than 59.3 beforehand.

Friday, Jan 04
Here comes the most awaited day of the month. On this day, investors’ focus will remain on the US NFP (Non-Farm Employment Change) and unemployment rate.
USD – Labor Market Report – The Nonfarm employment change is one of the most awaited and watched economic data of the month. Exactly like the ADP data, the NFP is also expected to add 181k jobs vs. 155k during the previous month.
However, the unemployment rate is expected to remain unchanged at 3.7%. If this really happens, we may see a nice buying in the dollar and sell-off in gold. Better than expected figures affirm the sentiments that Powell will continue to hike the interest rates in 2019.

Weekly stochastic stll hasn't a bottom (diversion). My trade setup trend would then be bearish, but I'm uncomfortable shorting here. Low volume dismissed any solid signals over asia.
