i am going to ask request people to beat me with a stick if i lurk in that thread again.
It serves no purpose at all..
It is suggested we have buyers/sellers , YES WE DO AND areas of stops YES WE DO..

so we get calls of weird entries nothing to do with stop areas.
Total contradictions all around.
Just one live call before it happens based on a stop hunt will suffice NOT AFTER....

Exactly ! You nailed it, Blue. It is too early for TT to say "The SM process is clear to me now". I thought he is subject to small sample size bias and it would take at least 6 months and 100 trades to verify that statement. Then I thought about it again and found that, in his case it probably will take much, much longer- because of his pyramiding on losing trades.

Early in my forex endeavor I back tested some Martingale EAs. Those EAs generated beautiful equity curves- growing straight lines until they blew the account. However, the life of those EAs varied. One of the EAs stayed alive for 1.5 years (in back testing) before it busted the account. So, Martingale is risky. But it may not kill you immediately. You may be fine trading it for 2 weeks, 1 year, 2 years... or even longer. And if you trade it manually and you're very good with market analysis, you can manually intervene to break the cycle of doubling down. That way you might be able to trade it for 20 years without being busted. However, it is still risky.

Pyramiding on losing trades is similar to Martingale, with the major difference being pyramiding doesn't call for doubling up on trade sizes (or do you, TT ?). It is not so risky as Martingale, but still risky. As long as price stays in a range, the pyramiding will cover up the mistakes in trade direction and allow you to bail out at a profit or break even, making you believe "The SM process is clear to me now". Yet when there's a trend reversal or market changes from ranging to trending and you get the direction wrong that's when you get busted (it might not be so dramatic as blowing your account but will cost you dearly). That day may come next week. Or it may come two years from now. But, chances are, it will come. So, while normally for intra-day trading 6 months and 100 trades may be adequate to verify the validity of a method, for pyramiding on losing trades, it may take much, much longer.

Like i said , J is probably too brainy to trade.
It is no good knowing all the fundamentals and why/how markets move.
Just remember it is YOU VERSUS THEM, similar to a cricket batsman/woman , you are batting and you have 11 players trying to stop you.
I posted many times how to crack it and still do. KEEP IT SIMPLE......

JK was lured into the "only thread" by the title, thinking trading was simple, got confused totally, subscribed to anyone & everyone on that thread & this one.
Left totally delusioned with Forex. Forums are not the best places to learn as is evident with all the ramblings of FF.

But im seeing these screenshots of cropped charts... is this like the new thing to do?

And i dont understand these levels/lines they are showing...

I see a screenshot from several days ago..then the same chart today..
now todays chart has some new levels on them.. the one TT says oh i could have
traded to that and got more pips...

shit...Thats old news the eurusd 1.14268-1.4300 is a major level.....

One only has to look at a chart and these stick right out...

But just like Fractals lines ...they only correspond to previous h/Ls etc....

No magic indies or MA crosses blah blah blah...

Maybe im dumb and oldschool... But one needs alot more confluent factors to enter atrade
rather than some lines... Thats pure DM....

Fuk i just have too shake my head at the sillyness.

And while im rambling lol....

DM is all about indicators and trying to find the holy grail of indis and combinations of indis
for entries and exits...ITS PURE DM that is stuck in that mode..Hey ive been there myself..

agreed. a major level has been put there by some heavy trading/orders ...
They are plain to see and quite easy to trade to.
Easy as long as you have the right trigger and time.

not sure HSI and coffee has much to do with forex trading directly...however those are the 2 major component of losses on that TE.
anyway,
it is useless to overreact this more than it has already on this thread.
if the concept "too much exist", it is qualifier...
