Weekly Outlook

Okay, so if we look at the longer term picture of this pair we can notice these facts:

  1. Nearest support level: 1.1275 and nearest resistance level: 1.1436. (Give or take 10 pips flex)
  2. MACD printed a Double Divergence and bars are now getting shorter. Signal line is pointing upwards which shows bull pressure is slowly building.
  3. Current candle tested the weekly 8 EMA line and probably wants to close above it until the end of this week.
  4. Based on RED and BLUE TL situation we can see that price is inside a triangle. BUT don't forget the MACD Double Divergence, which plays a role in "more bull power" compared to past bear power. Meaning: bulls are getting stronger! That's also why I expect a break to the upside. That's my own opinion.
  5. By looking at the very last 8 weeks we can see that price is actually flowing sideways in a very slightly bearish fashion: Could mean "indecision" or "weakening bear power".

Long story short: Market is still bearish yes BUT be aware that bulls are up to something. I hope it helps.

Daily Outlook

We just had a new RED TL breakout folks. That means bulls will be in charge for some time BUT I guess because MACD is so flat, the move right now won't be significant enough. Bulls need "news" power. Can FED do this? Time will tell.

On a side note: Candles climbing above Green line is not enough. Daily candle must also close above RED Dashed TL 1st touch level: 1.1396. Only then bulls can have free pass to go higher.

char... just think of retail forex brokers like the bucket shops in lefevre's book...theres not much regulation and overseas theyll let you trade at 500 to 1 margin lol. some brokers will give you bonus money which then youre not even able to withdraw. check some of the rags to riches in 20 trades threads on here for an enjoyable evening of laughter. there was a newone over the weekend that i found out about the broker bonus kickin that cant be withdrawn from the account....if your concerned that you might never get your 25k or 50k deposit you need in futures out of a bucketshop then stay away....if you want to gamble with 200 then go for it

I mainly trade 1hour time frame and some times check the 4h and 2hours, I do have the levels of Week and day.

my question.
1: do you use separate charts for each time frame or you draw lines and shift in between.
2: I see you refer to 30m time frame too but my question is when I draw lines can shift in between of time frames or I should have separate charts for each one.

Trigged the sell limit at 1.1378. For now the same picture. A triangle consolidation that could be in or retest the yellow trendline @1.1420 and then down. It looks like to be done for me. As I said should look for 1.1200 area completing a cycle and then fly above 1.1470.

Well Lcky ,, everybody views things just slightly different ,,really my main chart is a H2 chart ,,Not quite as noisy as a hourly chart ,, little cleaner look to pick out certain levels ,,not quite as slow as a 4 hour chart ,, which I dont use lol,, I have my reasons ,, next one up is a 6 or 12 hour ,, I think a lot of traders would find starting out if they just doubled what they looked at for a time frame they would do much better ,, would probably help on the patience thing , but the 2 hour is my main chart ,, top down of course preached no matter where you go but there comes a time for entry and or scalping a bottom up approach is a necessity,, for you that will come with experience ,, and you will get there . My 2 hour chart tells me the exact same thing as your hourly only all the extra history in the yellow box ,, ya get up at 2 or 3 in the morning stateside to get rolling with london ,, half awake waiting for the coffee to brew ,,, trying to sty quiet as too not wake the rest of the household up ,, lights low ,, trip over kids shoe ,, spill said coffee or drop mug ,, hits cat causes a commotion lol,, any rate that little extra info good to have ,, shows roughly what a monthly candle is looking like with out looking ,, then its above below the days open ,,and into the stuff I always post ,, above below the hourly 200 ,, the hourly 54 lwa is it into a shoulder area ,, where is WS1 or R1 ,, damn bailies irish cream in my coffee is it wrong this time of morning ,, oh shit ,, driver sick gonna be short a crew member today ,,damn is that my parts bill how tf could that much be spent on parts lol,, oh ,,sorry ad libbing my typical morning ha quick look at the daily see where a few indis at ,,check for any flags get some projections from certain levels and watch for my marks and fire away if you think back to that pattern I said repeated over and over again ,, the asian session has had a decent one a 28 pip asian session is pretty damn good remember back when it bounced of the hourly 54 lwa ,,ah shit forgot to hit the enter bar

Sorry Ata lol,, was watching a few trades ,,, any rate 2 hour for my clean look at levels ,, daily for an overall view ,, then down to the bottom and up approach to try and roll with it,, think of the hourly average price as your hot read as a session comes on line or starts,,, ride it to the bigger levels and kinda keep the little daily list of givens in the back of your mind ,, etc etc those patterns just go down when the mkt is trending down ,,same look just poking down instead of up

thanks for sharing all with me it is all learning for me and hope one day I say that I am doing great and my loses reduce to 1 or 2 %. I am waking up also either at 2 or 3 in the morning and trying to trad. some times I am good and some times I am bad and I try to trad over trad and then I lose a lot. last two weeks my lose was huge but before that I was very good. may be I felt that I know every thing now and then the market slept me on the face that I know nothing and I have to try again and again.
some time I frustrated and get bored and say that I quite but then my motivation and interest says that now that I know some why not to improve it then I continue again.
well thanks again I have re set my charts and hope that I go safer in this journey.

price should revisit 1346 and that were ill close out all my shorts for a small profit...trump is backing off the shutdown, todays miscreant avoided sentencing for more cooperation and tomorrows rate hike which should be the last for awhile is already priced in im guessing so all my political reasons for a dollar advance have just been kicked on down the road before closure

New to the site and thread.

Good to see lots of constructive helpful input from members.
Hope to learn alot, i personally havent been one for moving averages and have preferred naked charts with the exception of horizontal support and resistance. Have never understood the need and use of those indicators but its good to see how you have constructed them to form part of your trading arsenal.

The mkt has a way of keeping you humble ,, most times one can trace it back to the patience thing tho ,, There is a lot of good people here Lcky ,, some time one will say something here and then another one there something will resonate or give you a light bulb moment ,,it will never be the easiest thing one can do but one can make it easier for them to keep more than one loses ,, bit of a different journey for everyone ,,you will succeed ,, just pieces of a puzzle ,, you will put them together in a way that works for you,,, practice and patience ,, oh yea ,,, levels levels levels ,, lol,, keep swinging ,,,find the one little thing that works for you and expand from there and you will do just fine
