I truly despise sierra chart. what a piece of shit platform. if you trade off one application and switch over to a different computer, the pnl are off since they seem to not commuicate with each other. Then the trade pnl and trade statistics seems to have trouble reading pnl correctly after the rollover which they force on you to switch, otherwise you have teh fucking message in the middle of screen.

Only reason i use sierra is for video/stream purposes due to its chart and pnl on the same screen, but now i'm thinking of going back to cqg desktop. fuck sierra

i'd like to agree..

if you don't know what gwent is, it's a card game (similar to magic or hearthstone). It requires you to play your set of cards and anticipate your opponents move. Just like in poker and trading you're playing wtih imperfect information and trying to react intelligently.

i love the game cause i think it enhances my skills in trading

Frankly, it does not matter what you show in your screenshots and livestream or which platform you use because all we see is the positions being entered and exited on a blank chart.

As others have pointed out, there is not a whole lot to be gained watching your livestreams.

EDIT: and you are right about Sierra. It's a hunk of junk for someone who does not use advanced strategies or algo trading. It does not accurately track "Closed Trades" also. I am seeing differences between in demo also between the study and trade activity log. I think there seems to be some "refresh" problem.
Also, the "TOTAL" last row under the Trades tab is beyond words can describe. I dont know what the F does it calculate. It just boggles my mind that a software package so advanced does not offer realtime equity/balance curves. I don't know how others do it but then most are jumping up and down counting ticks everyday :-

My youtube is not for educational purposes. This thread is not for educational purposes. It's my channel where i share shit that i love to do. i'm not here to "teach" people to trade with my videos/streams. I've already posted my general strategies (link on first page) and i've chatted/commented on stream chat to explain stuff from time to time.

if you feel that i should explain ALL the details of my strategy and just hand somebody my means of trading for a living, you must be out of your god damn mind. You have to pay me like $150,000 (5x average monthly earnings).

maybe end of this month after i share all the daily pnl..i'll re-evaluate this thread. maybe stop it all together..and move on

I was only commenting on the reason you mentioned you were using Sierra for. You don't need Sierra for that purpose.

Whatever mental attitude motivates you to come to the market everyday. Some come with revenge, some come with gratitude, some participate in good will for charity etc. All that is as good as making up your own interpretation of what market presents followed with anticipation/expectation of what market will do upon entry/exit. The outcome has NOTHING to do with whether the other side of your trade is a strong hand or a weak hand. The odd on both sides will always fluctuate off a pivot in the long run. The way I see it, the only edge one needs to remain a winner in this "video game" is to stop trading while you are still ahead

Regardless, you have my respect for being the only one doing this with full transparency. Your trading stats have no relevance to me personally. With that said, I am off to Cancun to chill the f*ck away from this daily rat race
