Sorry i was joking with previous post.
If it actually happens , ie the big boys taking out the retailers stops.
IT COULD BE TRUE OR IT COULD BE MYTH,,,,((( IT DOES NOT MATTER)))
1st, we have Fundamentals which affect supply and demand, using analysis of economic,social, political values etc, this moves price and we also have the big boys having orders to fulfil when market opens...

we have a daily chart showing resistance 1 and support 1.
At these levels we will have buyers/sellers with areas for the stop losses.
some people will lose. some people will get the break direction correct and win.
If it were a big secret and we actually did have market manipulation both sets of people would lose.
Even worse the big guys would be fighting each other for the big bucks.
Their is some sense when we hear that if a level/area etc is met we should have a (confirming candle )before we enter a trade.
so if we have a break and the little retailer stop losses are hit, we can then trade with confidence

i sort of traded a failed trade to these levels, NOT AT THE LEVEL.
I FOLLOWED THE BIG BOYS ( MAYBE BIG GIRLS TOO) yaaaaaaaay

Hi Mr G, hope all is well...

The Low Failed so i would of put a counter on at the High Break AND a second High Trade.
the second High trade would of got me todays 5% but with 2 trades running counter, at minus -21 points.

This can be held until next trade Monday.

The only trouble with today was the NFP, and i would of been reluctant to trade off the 4 hour bars

Hi Happ, can you post a chart. i do not know what you mean, sorry.

I enter a trade, if it Fails i trade off the opposite end.
i then look at the 2 x 4 hour candles......
mainly hoping to hit the average daily range

We do not fail often but my forte' is fixing bad trades using other bars and counter.

Have seen at least two definitions. Some use an indicator that calculates ADR for them. Others use previous High/Low as their ADR. Which one do you prefer?

i usually make my own,
i used 5 day and 20 day and then i had what i call MODEST DAILY RANGE.
meaning,,, if the adr is 120, my modest daily range would be 90.

My break out stats are based for + 10 points BUT I TAKE 5, better odds then..
