the 00-00 4 hour bar High broke then reversed to break low. THEN WENT BACK UP

IT HAPPENS... BUT WE CAN STILL CHASE ADR.
NOW YOU KNOW WHY I COUNTER. ..( you don't have to )

i was gonna say, it might drop anytime failing that it might bump down from 12800

No problem, better than a loss. My EURUSD short s/o at BE is really more annoying. It was in profit 70 pips already. But I am not good with swing trading.

i just looked at a cable Chart t 14-16
it is at a mini resistance level so maybe a drop.
just saying as someone asked me.

Hello Billy! What if, for example, talking about 4:00 am H4 candle

The low break, then the price retraces up, breaks the HIGH... so we go long aiming for 5-20 pips. BUT, what if:

The price goes +3 pips, then goes down? if our target is 5 pips, what will be our "mental stop"? When do you counter? I don't think is a good idea countering when price reach other end of the candle, because it will be a huge DD. So me, for example, what i think is: "i will counter when price goes to -10 pips" And then i'll try to fix this trade later.

All this because price, often, doesn't go straight to +5

Yeah it was an half-question. I'd like to know how others would do, what is your mental stop guys?

You have to be in the mindset of what is happening.....
DD ( which i never look at) off a 04-00 4 hour bar is going to be anything from 15 to 28 points,
i rarely entered a trade over 28 points.
Don't forget i traded off the 4 bar AFTER an 08-00 15 minute bar Fail. I TRADED STATS.

Gonna call it a day, admit that long was the play today. At least I was able to fold my shorts, so no loss at least. Better luck next time. Tomorrow NFP day ... either no trading or a cannot miss shot after the facts, then again it is family time approaching ... cheers, trade tight ...

Once the big traders go up to the retail traders stop loss level what then happens to those stop losses? Why do the big traders want to go up to the retail traders stop loss and what do they do with it once they get there, this is the part of the market that I don't understand anything about. For example in a upmove what do the big traders do at the point of the shorts stop loss level? what do the big traders do with those stop loss? curious...this is really interesting but how it works?

Cable, the 08-00 15 min bar break
The Low broke and FAILED,
we had retrace and the High Broke for +10.
IF i were trading, i would be minus -21 points being held in a counter
