I will be out of the markets for a while until I have completed the final transition to the futures market. Thanks to you Zelos for providing some great pointers. I took the first step away from spot fx some time ago, moved over and traded the NQ through a CFD provider. But this was just a stepping stone to moving over to a regulated futures broker and this process has now begun. Until all the paperwork has been completed and funds transferred, I will enjoy a peaceful time to recharge my batteries and just enjoy the holiday season. Trade safely out there and take care.

My first day today trading a sim account in NinjaTrader and directly on the NQ 12-18 future. Up +$7,900 on a $100k demo. I can already feel the difference from my previous CFD provider. Sharper execution and I just love the dynamic SuperDOM! I am testing the platform on my laptop through wifi, still felt much better. My plan is to continue practicing on the NinjaTrader 8 platform until I feel 100% comfortable. Then I will fund the minimum of $1k into the brokerage account and slowly start building before committing deeper. Small steps ahead.
Theese trades arnt on real account are they?Did you make almost 150K today??

No, this is just the test phase of the platform. I plan to keep testing it until I am fully confident with the trade execution, order placement etc. I was pushing the contract size up to see how the fill and execution would be when closing all positions at market. There are no commissions charged either on the sim account.

+$460 today.
Not the easiest of days with price bouncing around the daily pivot. We could see a spike up through 6625.
But another green day here in demo-land.

5th green day in a row. +$31,975 today.
My long trades struggled today and I actually lost on the long side. Was able to pull back from the drawdown but avg. loss exceeded avg. win today which is not good.
