Yes, very good EA with very good results and profitable as well but its not working on my Real or Live Account.

I am trying to contact the owner. Its not my EA my friend

I've searched high and low but can't seem to find anything that can do this for me. Its basically for my STOP LOSS. In MT4 you can set a stop loss price, the only problem with this is that it will close the trade if price hits this number or goes past it. But I don't want it to do this. I only want it to close the trade if the candle CLOSES past my stop loss price. Seems so simple I can't believe nobody else has ever needed something like this. Am I the only one out there that uses closing prices for stops instead of the current price?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to find something that you observe happening again and again and then use additional information to add some weight to your argument.

Hi All, Does anyone use any volume indicator(s) for fx? I like to use it with stocks as confirmation of a strong trend/momentum. However, looking at fx, there really doesn't seem to be much options? I read there is no true volume since there is no central exchange.

Anyway, if anyone has any thoughts on using volume for fx please share. Or if there are other strategies for fx volume please post some. Thanks.

Do not use volume with FX and don't generally comment on trading strategies, methods, etc.

Sometimes, I use MACD trading tool; basically when I see any long-run trendy market then I use this default tool.

Hey guys!

i have a quick question, really in couldnt find else where to publish, i been trading for wile now, some demos and also some lives accounts. so there is something i just dont get it or im missing something.

i place a trade today i went short eurusd and placed a SL and for my surprise i was stopped out, and if you look at the chart in a mt5 platform or tradingview the Price didnt hit my SL or it wasnt even close.

could i have been experimenting some slippage? the bróker told me that the ask passed my SL and thats why my SL hit, but i just dont ge it why this Price action wont be reflected on the chart.

Merry Christmas and happy new year and decade to you lovely people.
I have just joined FF.
I studied some forex stuff last year from odd books , video channel and bit of babypips.

I now want to start again.
I have gone through couple of threads in last few hours and made note of books I will be going through them in holidays.

I need some mentoring (basically some pointers) from you guys. I think below will help you guys to give me more focused info.

I am 45 year IT professional. I am doing this on top of day job. I am thinking that 3 - 4 months of 10 - 12 hours time on reading books + watching forums

after 3 months demo account for 3 - 6 months.
After then slowly enter real market. Based on my day job I think I can spend between 1 - 3 hours a day. ( for study and trade)

Based on above ...
Do you think I am over ambitious or totally flawed plan?
When I trade in demo and live account what sort of tradeing you think i should be doing? I think daily / few hours would be better but please advise and I will focus more on that trade initially.

In few threads you guys have warned to not follow advise blindly as some of them might not be even successful trader. But my question is how to distinguish right advise / person from wrong one.

If anyone of you have started journey as me then please share your knowledge / experience with me. This will help me to stay focussed.

Im new to the group and have a few questions. I have been in and out of day trading for a few years but was turned on to FOREX about a year ago. Of all places I was first exposed to this on Instagram. Yes I know, lots of scams on there and I have followed some of them long enough to see what goes on. However I have connected with a couple out of the UK (I'm in the US) and paid them for their signals. I will say some of the signals I was fed worked and I made money. So I know this process of buying signals works. My only issue is the time difference in the UK and US in that when Im getting most of the signals, Im asleep. Does anyone know of anyone in the US that is reputable to buy signals from? I have a MT4 acct and have money in it. I just need signals. In the long run I will learn FOREX for myself but Im not there yet. Also does anyone trade gold? I'm looking for signals on gold too
