I stumbled upon this thread, and have a lot of reading to catch up on. But I like the simple charts and straight forward analysis.

I think I get the basic 30/50/100 dynamic zones, S/R, and fibs for confluence (to start anyways).
But I would like to learn more about entry triggers.
Thanks in advance for any comments.

AUDJPY

I sold this pair last week, I still believe this is still a good sell towards the lower trendline.

GBPAUD 4H

closed -23pips because it violated trade plan. Too many closes under the 50 SMA

10 years on. Hector's method is still the best to me.

4H down trend. Using 1hr to trade the retracement back to 4H. Trade 1H timeframe to 4H value area. Multitimeframe trading.

On this same chart:
Use 3SMA for 4H timeframe
Use trend collapse for 1H timeframe

This method has made 356pips in May so far.

NZD/CAD D1 Short:

Technical:
1.Ichimoku: Ichimoku giving a sell signal.


2.MACD: MACD is also giving a sell signal.


3.Currency Strength:
NZD is much weaker than CAD

Fundamental:
Due to the trade war between China & US, Chinese currency is weakening, so is NZD..
Crude Oil price gaining strength, so is CAD.

Trading Plan:
I'll Open short position when market opens (20 May)
There is a news release of CAD on 22 May, I'll stay away from the market at that time(OR I'll put a large stop loss).
And I hope I can Continue with this pair this whole week, Since there is no other news releases awaiting for this pair.

Update: short position opened at 0.8766

Update: Stoploss is widen as CAD 'Core retail sales' data is about to release..
Update: Result came positive for CAD.So I closed the position with 70 pips profit (at 0.8696) and booked my profit..I will go short again this pair after retracement.
Update: NZD/CAD shorted again at 0.8703 & planning to hold this till May 30

Am wondering how many of you are still trading this method profitably? Seems like a reasonably sound approach, but the thread is dormant, and so I wonder why.
