bear should have allowed bull reach 1460 for it's own benefit and enjoy a long downward ride to 1200. time is ticking against bear unless it secures below 1350 within an hour.

I try to keep up with what news events that are public on the calendar. Looks like some bad EU news Thursday, with a lot of bad EU news coming out on Friday.

How do I know it is bad news, well there is a consensus of the estimated results. So you will have an idea if the news will be good or bad, just go with the consensus in your trade theory crafting. How to trade the results is another matter.

So we have calendar events coming that will weaken the EU dollar. At least they look like they will, they may trade differently but as far as everyone knows the data looks like it will come in weak. The market is for some reason not that far thinking, they will start to trade for news only an hour or a few hours before the results come out. Just look at how the FOMC news was traded in the past and that was news that everyone knew what they were going to say the day before dollar was weak, only to just start gaining strength hrs before the news came out. Everyone knew what the fed was going to say, because they told everyone before hand. Still the market only able to wrap it mind around it just a few hours before. Call it selective acknowledgement, likely they knew that news would be Negative for EU and ran it up so they could sell short a few days before but the market didn't take the correct course until just a few hours before.

Anyways I try to be aware of the political and news front on EUR/USD because it is for sure the most manipulated currency out there. The manipulation can lead to huge profits if you are able to trade them. It can be read with some thought of events and the whispering of the charts.

as of now, i see more sellers. it' funny how our brain works; we all look at the same chart but see different things and come up with opposite conclusions. then we fight with each other about being right or wrong
this is something i have learned from trading, an awakening thought: nothing is absolute in this world, almost everything is relative. this also applies to the concept of "truth", which partially includes the perception of one being "right" or "wrong" on something or anything... we all can be right and wrong at the same time, just like Schrödinger's cat is both dead and alive at the same time in quantum physics.

Looks like EU is set up to test waters above 1400, probably up to 1420 just to fall to 1.1300.....

US holiday tomorrow and there is black Friday too. No action on EURUSD or any currency in that matter. My advice is not to trade those two days. If trading, only scalp because there is no action. Once US comes back from holidays on Monday morning, than there is going to be action. I will be taking a break kind of starting my small weekend vacation tomorrow. We will chat and trade on Monday morning. Trade safe.
