1.1325 might become a pain for Asian session. I am calling it a day here. Probably bulls will kick in some.. then bears.. the bulls again.. I will be ready once price is back below 1.1320. If not we can discuss tomorrow after Frankfurt or London opening. Trade safely folks and have a happy Asian session.

5am I'm about to head to bed. Took a buy at 1.13316, half of regular trade size. Have a pending buy at 1.13242, full-sized SL for both at 1.1319. Buying off 1.1330/1.1325 area as potential supports. Setting a TP as well as a sell limit at 1.1362, SL 7 pips and another sell limit at 1.1397, SL 7 pips as well.

Been up and about for close to 30 hours now so I'm sleeping in. Pendings I'll leave valid for 12 hours or about an hour after London kicks in. I should be awake by then to re-evaluate the plan.

Happy trading everyone, lets end the week well yeah! Christmas is coming

Sorry if you felt attacked. Just pointing out individual's taste. Different traders different strategies. An intraday 20pips SL trader won't leave a trade on for 70pips drawdown as happened within 3 hours of LO.
Swingers do make money just as intraday do, likewise scalpers. (Not a scalper but I scalped >+40pips this evening within 2hrs. Would've been >>80 if I had adopted the scrapers' attitude earlier enough considering it's after London close). I guess it's all about styles and preferences. Each person on his own.

Brokers are in business to make money. Provided I'm making money, I care not how much my broker is making.

Don't worry bro you will one day. Just be true to yourself. Tell yourself who you're.... Scalper, intraday, swinger, longterm. Learn yourself and decide which one fits you. Then be true to yourself and filter the noise here.

Assuming you're a scalper and a swinger with 50-70 pips SL is screaming all the reasons he's making an entry at a particular price level showing all beautiful charts, you start seeing reasons with him probally make an entry too without knowing that while he's safe@70pips SL, your 10pips SL isn't.

Know who you're and be true to yourself. If you decide that you're intraday, then I advise you follow ATA closely. Find the PDF files on his teachings and swot like you never did before. One day it will surely click.

i like scalping and intraday trading. recently i'm following ATA's strategy and studding on it. i don't have any scalping strategy so trying with few indicators but don't works. everyday i learning somethings from here so i hope one day i will be an expert trader as long as you guys are help me to learn.

INMHO, if price can break and hold above 1.13525 Bulls may have more steam. Maybe to the 1.14026. I think the most important thing though is to play your system consistently and not change it up because of one trade. It is about making money consistently over the long run, not trying to tailor your system to each individual trade.

One of the things that helped me the most was making a simple trade journal, that way I was able to find my ideal hold time. If my trade is losing money and I have held longer than my ideal hold time I cut bait even if it has not hit my stoploss. If it is in profit and I see it may go further I may extend my hold time.

Part of my strategy is being patient with winners and impatient with losers.

Either way it is important not to beat yourself up over losing trades. There will be other trades.

Bro as a newbie, scalping is ultra-risky. Intraday is better. Follow ATA closely. Learn both the classical-TL- LWMA system and the Steep-TL-Divergence system. Depending on your risk appetite and flexibility, decide if you follow both flexibly or specialize on one.
Scalping is very risky for nonspecialists.

A specialist ,, nah ,, just discipline and something that points the proper levels out and an exact knowledge of what the tool your using represents,, how many 10 pip trades do you see here ,, ave represents 1/4 of a day ,, 360 minutes ,, learn your tool ,,have the discipline to ignore things that are posted and pull the trigger at the appropriate time and take your 10 pips and be done . Most peoples problems are no practice ,, much easier to just watch price go up and down and by time they make decision price has been there and gone ,,, this is a job if you want to make serious money , it dont have to be complicated , there is no mystic or magic properties about the mkts . Be aware of the time of day ,, previous highs and lows etc price patterns such as flags ,, just levels and trading to them and between them ,,nothing more nothing less ,, the more shit you throw on a chart the more complicated it becomes .

2 nd chart same timeframe same average only a few more levels ,, with the big level being last weeks low and the weekly S1 down there ,, what do you think the skirmish is really over ,, there is a quarterly low in this area too ,, it is a chess match between buyers and sellers ,, think that is something that escapes a lot of people ,, oh the mkt should just do this or do that ,, it dont work quite like that ,,,,, levels hold or fold they can be revisited several times back and forth ,, it is a battle ,, everyday

i suggest you to fear not and post your charts, post your entries, describe the reasons of your entries... you might get some nasty comments, but from some around here you might have comments, very constructive ones... i hope.

10 pips is a day, is more than enough, with the right MM, you can be very healthy...

describe your "system", accept critics/opinions, from great people here, and in 2 weeks you will do fine...hope so!
