Went against my rules. Itchy fingers. Played with fire trying another entry in anticipation of follow through / continuation move. Got spanked... Gave back 13pips. I knew I shouldn't do that. That was no where in my trading rules. Just itchy fingers. Need something to tame these itchy fingers. One good trade a day should be enough unless there's another good original setup and not trial and error itchy fingers entry. Discipline isn't easy. Must find a great way to keep busy...I believe that's the best way to attain discipline in trading.
I'm not sure if trading 'alone' as a career is a great idea cos of discipline issues.... Boredom, itchy fingers, no setups...I call them the Devil's Triad. Together with 'trading without SL', are the greatest enemy of a trading account.

When you've met your daily target, just close trading platform and watch a movie or go out with friends.
Plan your trades and trade your plan.

Multiple HH-LL Range formations of which im showing H4 && H1.
Until a break of HH or LL the ranging behavior continues.

Usually, when HH-LL formations occur within higher Frame HH-LL formations, ultimately a Triangle formation is created for a breakout.

GM, So pivot @1394 held pretty well. Bases are holding tight. Minor resistance @1415 ish now 1434 1465 1490 wide open now. Picked a Short 1423 but left the screen without refreshing template and a las she kinda bottomed. Buying low selling high. Green peeps

Looks like we did a little complex correction. Am in long @ 1.14147.
Watch the magnetic resistance, fib88.6 and daily R1 @ 1.14354 - 1.14438

On EW I think we finished minute wave ((i)) from minor wave 3.
This means we are working on wave ((ii)), and looking for bearish signs to ride wave ((iii)) of 3.

But still only trading PA and breakouts , it's all price derived. When 2 breaks this will be a flat correction, so we are at B and working on C, not putting my money on that alone. Just an update.

Seems 1.1393 area held. I got in at 1.13945, stops at 1.1411 now, watching to see if 1.1420/1.1425 area resists or breaks. Not much of a range covered today, makes me think more upside to be seen.

i think today is a sccalp day i closed from 1,1420 and now waiting for 1,1405 to buy stop is 1,1385 tp is 1,1445

Seems 1.1420/1.1425 area is good resistance, but on momentum indicators the past few times we were here we were tapped out.. Plenty more momentum to carry on upwards this time around. Target is 1.1445/1.1450 area if I’m not stopped out first.

Trading can be quite simple for the fearless, rule-obedient simple mind.
Have had 3 genuine setups today each of which could've yielded atleast 20-25pips EU and 30-50pips GU. Missed first one cos I got late to my trading desk. Traded 2nd one well. Missed 3rd one cos of my stupidity playing with fire and gave back some pips in the process. If only I had been a simple soul and simply played by the rules.
Trading is simple. Play by the rules. Obey the rules. The rules are there to protect and guide you.
