Analysis Of the Week's Calendar Events

Monday

GBP Services PMI data projected to print red 53.9 and in my opinion this is not bad for the UK as the data is within range.
CAD BOC Go Poloz Speaks
USD ISM non-Manufacturing PMI ---expected to print red
AUD RBA Rate Statement and Cash Rate --- consensus is that the cash rate will remain at 1.5.


Tue
US Congressional Elections -- I don't like predicting the outcome of Elections so I would prefer to stand aside and watch how things unfold or reduce my market exposure to USD pairs. If the republicans gain most of the seats in the senate and house of Rep then it is good for the currency.
NZD-- Employment change projected to remain same
NZD-- Unemployment Rate green
NZD --Inflation expectations If inflation remains at 2% I see no muse about raising interest rates.
JPY---Average Cash earnings .

Wed
CAD--- Ivey PMI anticipating green, good for CAD
NZD--- Cash rate/monetary policy statement ---- expect cash rate to remain the same but I suspect the market buying of this currency ahead of the news.


Thu
Eur---EU Economic forecasts
USD--- FOMC statement/ Fed fund rate though for now the rate may remain the same but I will be looking forward to the Feds opinion on raising interests rates for December as recent data points to a strong US economy giving the fed a pat on their back that they were right about increasing rates at the pace they going about it .
AUD--- RBA Monetary Policy statement


Fri
GBP-- GDP green projected
Manufacturing production green
Prelim GDP green
Prelim Business investment green ----- I Strongly suspect a massive buying of the pound ahead of the release of this data.
USD---PPI green good for the dollar
FOMC member Quales speaks
Prelim UoM consumer sentiment


In conclusion, I will be looking for opportunity to go long GPB, NZD, AUD, CAD In this order. I will also be paying close attention on The USD. If DXY 96.00 is not compromised after the elections I will go bullish , if no bearish.

9:30pm AUD RBA Rate Statement - Seems like no change is in order. I will be following this one because however it moves it will, in my opinion, have NZD follow suit on Wed. Especially if they do change rates or have dovish Statement. Good for AN trade.
AUD Cash Rate

Tuesday
All Day USD Congressional Elections - Republicans maintain control Dollar rises...and I think big. If not, it will be a long winter for the Dollar and Trump and US Gov will be back to the old boring status quo of defeating any and every attempt the sitting President has to improve the nation.

Wednesday
2:00pm NZD RBNZ Monetary Policy Statement - Seems like no change is in order. Will make same AUD move from Monday. Take opposite trade on AN from Monday

Thursday

1:00pm USD FOMC Statement
USD Federal Funds Rate

6:30pm AUD RBA Monetary Policy Statement

I am still bearish Dollar. Decision for election will be around Asian Session Wed. (Although I believe the powers that be already know).

Second point I really don't care if anyone thinks my gains are not real.I know they are real which I have to deal with IRS and Taxes and frankly if some people think they are not real then so much better usually I find generally less talented,idiots question without actually reading or observing my posts.
Its a good perimeter to weed out the noise makers.
