Hey guys, I have a question - can we call highlighted zone a supply?

Hello traders. Good evening (It's 8:13pm here)

I've been doing alot of practices and this is my first time posting charts. This is a practice top down analysis i did on NANO-BTC using daily-4hr-1hr time sequence. Please correct me where i'm wrong. I'd love to learn more.

Hello som3k, if I correctly understand what mjaved stated, inherited zone looks like this picture, maybe Im wrong, if so please correct me, thank you

it's the other way around.

the highlighted zone in your picture (the pink zone) needs the zone below to be a supply zone. without it the zone did nothing.

the zone below did the job. it removed demand. it gave the zone above the permission to be supply.

Hi Muna93
In response to your latest post, I would concentrate on looking for untested zones above and below current price (on all timeframes) with strong moves away. We're looking for areas where price had to move away rapidly because of the imbalance between S&D. The idea being to look at them as possible areas to trade when price returns. In S&D the view is that repeated revisits to a zone weakens it (i.e. opposite to support and resistance). It took me ages to accept this point, but we're dealing in probabilities so zones don't have to work :-). To put the odds in our favour, IMHO we're looking for quality zones (e.g. strong moves away, little time spent basing, untested zones). Some of the zones marked in your post have either been tested several times or price spent a long time before moving away. When I started out I found it helped to also watch the youtube videos ( e.g. in youtube search for 'storehouse analytics back to basics') multiple times :-). Hope this helps.

I've been watching the videos on YouTube and it's really helping. I know about the tested and untested zones but I just want to know if I got the zones & trendlines I drew are correct atleast.

yes, this area is a problematic area (that is why the target of the trade is somewhere near it), but I didn't highlight this monthly zone as a monthly supply, since it didn't do anything to be called SZ - didn't break treandline, didn't engulf opposing demand zone, didn't even do 2:1 move. It also was tested already on monthly, so it is not fresh.
